I don't think you are making a mistake. The Networks don't report the votes coming from the Virgin Islands, Guam, or American Samoa yet they all get one electoral vote each. So thats 3 more electoral votes.

Anyone seen what going on in the Daschle Thune race?

With the 125K it would seem to me if there are 200K provisionals out there that Ohio will be this years Florida nightmare.

Very close at this point, but Thune may well pull it out. Thune leading by 7000 votes with 87% reporting.

Yeah it was real close last time I think Thune lost by something like 500 votes. What does Daschle expect when he spends the vast mojority of his time not even in his state.

If he does lose that will be a pretty big blow for the Dems.

U.S. territories get no electoral votes. All 538 electoral votes belong to the 50 States & D.C.:

435 -- for the U.S. House
100 -- for the U.S. Senate
3 -- D.C.

Total = 538 electoral votes

It is sickening to see the Ohio Secretary Of State on FoxNews crowing about a bush victory.

Kerry will not concede until Ohio gives itself up and another state also does so.
