I don't believe that he accurately portrays some of the things in the film, but I can at least watch it and appreciate it as a very good documentary.

Thats my point exactly. Where the other stuff came from I have no idea but what you stated is my ONLY point. I have no other issues about it. None. As far as I'm concerned he can make all the movies he wants. I'm just not taking everything he portrays as fact especially since he admits it himself.

Well sure, of course things can be represented in different ways. My only point is that the idea that the whole documentary is "fiction" doesn't follow from this point.

Astro,

Please, watch the film, then you could talk about this with first hand experience. I think that many of the links have valid points, but if you havent seen the movie they don't mean anything. If you watch the movie then you could use your own experience to debate with, rather than repeating someone elses argument. I am sure that the movie will not change your point of view but at least you will get a better point of reference. To argue this without seeing the movie is like a blind person disliking the color purple.

Look, I have no problems with this movie for the last time. My only point was that its not factual admitted by both sides of the argument. It was one stinking point about which we are all in agreement. I only pointed it out for the few who do not live in America and were under the misconception that his movie portrayed it accuratly as it doesn't by his own admission. The point is, if you want to think this represents America, then do so but know its a false representation through a limited Hollywood view.
