Something's going to change.
were already in the "A Dance With Dragons" book. true if they play it out it there's enough action in that single book for two seasons.

But now the fear is the actors will age out before Martin finishes the net two books.
I can't go into further detail without giving away key elements of the show to those who haven't read the book.
lets just say the timeline isn't years long...

Minimally, but I agree that parts are there. As it stands everyone is under contract for seven seasons with an eighth as an outside possibility. ADoD would need to be next season with some very minor spilling over into six as both books 6 and 7 are expected to be large tomes.

To me they have already aged out as most were too old when cast anyway. Just one area where I need to suspend disbelief.

Next week, my friend, I think you will be combinations of shocked, happy, satisfied and saddened.

Yep, Tyrion will certainly be in the next "Whoa!" scene.

I like how they changed the way Ygritte died in the show (vs. the books). Much more closure this way. Also pretty nice how they put John Snow in charge. I can't even recall what happened exactly with him and Mance, so I'll purposefully not bother checking, so I can be surprised as well, hehe.

I'm wondering if they will go anywhere with Lady S in the finale, or if Dany's favorite will leave for other pastures. Guess we'll see. Should be cryptic enough for those who haven't read the books.

I still root for Littlefinger. Does that make me a bad person? Just seems he plays the game better than everyone else.

Personally I wouldn't go that far.
A solid end episode with a few very glaring omissions unless they plan on doing Lady Stoneheart next season.
If I wasn't so familiar with the books I think I would enjoy this show a lot more that being said, it was pretty solid.
I would give it a 7 out of 10.

I've not read the books, so every episode is new to me.

I thought tonights episode was pretty awesome. Not the best though, it's still behind a few others.

Things didn't really go how I thought they were. I've read ahead and had a good idea of what was going to happen, but there's a few spots that I thought were going to be part of early next season.

Is there a set time limit for spoilers until we can talk about what all happened in this episode?

The Hound versus Bre-man? He killed Beric Dondarion and he can't kill her? Being that Arya left him alive like in the book there is still the outside chance that the Hound was the monk on the island.

Jojen getting offed? Looks like we got show spoiled as he is still alive at the ends of WoW. I guess Martin will kill him off at some point or he is rendered irrelevant to the story arc.

The Tyrion/Tywin encounter went perfect, "You're no son of mine!' A+J=T anyone? Keeps that story going.

That part had me scratching my head to. I was thinking he was going to die from infection this episode, not by Bre. Still, I like both characters pretty evenly and the fight was pretty good. Not really too dramatic of a death for a main character though.

I didn't think they would bring up that part of the story in this episode. I thought they would leave it for next season. The Bran & raven thing is probably the most boring storyline of the show for me though.

I also didn't think they would show us what happens at the wall to, and again I thought it would be shown next season.

He's not quite dead yet.

Well, they have been adding Bran filler for the entire season so to me it made sense that he finally found the CotF. Just a bit disappointed with Bloodraven's appearance. He looked more like a dirty old man than the half tree/half person creature from the novel.

But this does leave open the whole 'Jojen paste' theory.

They had to, I don't think they could have left Stannis Jefferson hanging out there for another season.

Pretty much all I expected to happen, but I was surprised by the Breanne/Dog fight. I hope she still goes to the Eerie...as at least she may still find Sansa. Really, she did what she promised with Arya. She sees she is somewhat safe, but can't drag her around with her if she doesn't want to go.

The Tyrion/Tywin scene was mostly what I hoped for. Seems they are on track to follow the books as to what happens to Tyrion now. As well as Cersea's reaction to his escape and murder of Tywin.

Good headway with Dani and the dragons too, with Drogon gone missing.

Still no Lady Stoneheart, but oh well. Maybe the surprise moment of the season opener.

Too long, too long, to go without our GoT fix......

Yeah. Nine months and no new book in sight. I am almost tempted to ask my cuz for the inside scoop.

Anyone catch the True Blood special before hand? The wifey was excited, me, not so much. More looking to Boardwalk Empire.
