Episode one moved faster than I expected.

The only person that should sit on the throne is Jon Snow.

Sam would make a good hand of the king.

Samwell to John-
"Would she give up her crown for her people?"

I would guess Hell NO.

The pic? May or may not mean something.

Not the point, some of us don't require the instant gratification aspect of not waiting for the show to air and aren't interested in knowing what may or may not happens until it's broadcast.

If I do find something out I'll add a spoiler then.

Don't read if you haven't watched it yet.

But,

It was funny Drogo was giving Jon the evil eye.

He should make a mental note. Never make out with the Mother of Dragons when her kids are watching.

It was. Jealous dragon. Our point of humor.

Our moment of goo-goo eyes, and a spark of budding love: Gendry and Arya.

And the award for most gob smacked expression goes to Ser Jaimie when he realized the strange little person in a wheelchair staring at him is Brandon. Jon Snow, or King Targaryen the sixth of his name, could have borrowed that when he learned who his parents are. I'm not sure the gravity of the implications with his sugar-pie honey bunch has hit him just yet.

Hard saying.

Since they moved so fast in episode one. The next one will prolly go just as fast, and it will be downplayed.

Just getting to watch now.

I hope it lives up to the hype.

I'm thinking that because of this one of them knowingly sacrifices themselves. I'm leaning towards Dany at this time with Jon getting the throne.

Melisandra should be on her way back to Winterfell.

The remnants of the nightwatch and free folk are on their way back.

Next two episodes should be epic.

Jamie walked in to the wolves den.

Since Brandon isn't Brandon anymore. I don't think he will have a lot to say.

It will be interesting to see how he gets saved because he will.

I don't think Bronn will go through with his mission.

And Cersei lied to both Jamie and Tyrion about being pregnant.

She was drinking wine after her bop with Euron.

Kit Harrington said on the Colbert Show that he cried when he read the final script.

If both Dany and Jon die, it flashed through my mind when I saw the little spark between Gendry and Arya, that they could end up ruling the seven kingdoms. But that would be unthinkably boring.

(I've watched so much GOT lately, I'm starting to actually think with an English accent. At lunch yesterday, I almost asked for "waa-ta" instead of my usual wadder.)

I suggest they drop barrels of wild fire onto the hoard of zombies. Done and done.

I hope Gendry is no where near the throne.

Roberts rebellion was built on a lie because he wanted a woman that didn't want anything to do with him.

Gendry's claim is the weakest. On top being an illegitimate child of Robert.

Don't want to see Sansa on it either.

Her role models are Cersei and Littlefinger. She goes full blown witch with a B in the next episode.

So that was pretty good.

All the forces are aligning, Cersei is scheming, Jon now knows he's a Targayeon, Jamie just realized his days may be numbered, Drogo is jealous, Theon and Yara are heading home, Arya and Clegane come face to face,etc...

There's a lot of plot lines converging.

I was impressed. There were several lol moments and lots of serious stuff to build up to the war.

Tyrions eunuch jokes was among them.

Did anybody think the scene with Dany and Jon riding the dragons was a bit "Avatar-esque"?
Um. Not to say stolen, but ..... I half expected Jon to say "I was born to do this!"

That was really obvious foreshadowing. Dani will prove she will sacrifice herself.
I said it forever. She is Nisa Nisa. She will be the sacrifice.

I remember you saying that and I really think it's going to be what happens based on Sam's comment. I see her going into battle on Drogon against the Night King where her sacrific kills him.

The script leaked last week was accurate for episode 1.
Got to say, moved too quick.
Feels like they are just trying to end it.

Last season felt a little the same but not as shallow.
The was no real depth to this latest episode.
