as i read this article, it appears to say that it's not quite dead, it's just not part of the overall package, which means it STILL has a shot at being passed into law..

additionally, they plan to vote on magazines...

i've seen the exchange between cruz and feinstein posted here several times, in different threads...has nobody noticed that piece of crap, durbin, saying that "none of those rights are absolute"? i mean, i honestly find that to be one of the most disturbing and dangerous things i've heard come out of an elected official's mouth in a long time.... he should seriously lose his senate seat for that...

why is a victory to have these kinds of weapons in existence?

You know, I would love to live in a Utopia-type civilization where there were no weapons and everyone grew/raised/ate food from their own land and had a fresh well on site. Natural resources were free and there were no misunderstandings in communication. And most importantly, nobody contained the will to rule over others.

However, that last part is the crux. As long as there are those that wish to rule over others and impose their will based on ego and greed . . . there will be a need to defend ourselves against these monsters. So, if you want to start the revolution, simply convince the leaders of world to give up their positions of power and means to secure it and join you . . . at that point, I'm sure the rest of the world will follow.

As for advancing as a species . . . evolution tells us that higher intelligence comes in the form of higher brain function. Higher brain function must be fueled with a large amount of energy, in the form of food. The only way to get the required amount of fuel is to eat other living things. The amount of fuel needed to keep our primative brain (if we are not advanced) going and continue to develop intelligence is large and is significantly aided by eating food that has a vast amount of energy in the smallest package attainable. Meat contains more "energy" per pound than plant material, because plants only get their energy from the sun and animals get their energy from the sun and eating plant material (or other animals). The more meat . . . the more efficient the fuelling process. If our intelligence is to increase and we are to "advance" . . . where is all that fuel going to come from? A lab? Eating buckets/pounds of fish a day? A ton of grass? It would work the same for aliens as well . . . so if they are "advanced" intellectually, they would be need even more fuel to develop and maintain higher intelligence . . . what if that meant eating us? Would they still be advanced? Wouldn't you want a gun then?

Getting rid of guns gets rid of a lot of hunters and leaves less reasons for people to need Vehicles off the pavement.

She needs to get some help for her PTSD from way back when Mayor Moscone and Harvey Milk got shot by Dan White. That was the start of her Progrom and the beginning of our plight.

Using the label "Assault Weapon" for everything that is semi auto is ridiculous. There is a big difference between a semi auto and a full auto. Bans on clips is also the most retarded thing ever. Instead of having 2x30 round clips I must have 6x10 round clips. Oh wow you saved a whole 5 seconds time between magazine swap. A rifle that's scoped and dialed in and being used by a skilled marksman doesn't care how many bullets it has, as it will only take one. I can thumb flip out my knife just as fast as a switchblade does that make it a assault weapon?

Lastly I really love how the media and our congress cant seem to grasp the idea that CRIMINALS AND MASS MURDERERS most of the time are ***not registered gun owners** i repeat, registered gun owners generally have a smidge of common sense and morals. Also they're aware that the gun they have registered is on record, and can be tested in the event of a crime. You'll also notice I said generally because we've all seen those videos on the net of dumb radnacks having fun and ending up shooting emself.
