WOW, how can you look at that and see a skull out of that? Jesus we have one small glimpse of Mars from a rover sitting there, and you guys are pointing out EVERYTHING, I mean there isnt one detail in this picture that somebody hasnt already called a "skull" or a "hand" or a "lizard" or even "testicles" i think i heard too.. lol

How can you be so sure it's not a lizard?

Also, you do realize that the entire point of the "enhanced" picture is that he colored over where he thought the lizard was with a green overlay, to make it more visible? It's not as if he was trying to play it off as actually being green...

Because it looks like a skull. I'm not saying it is a skull, in fact, I said it's probably a rock. But it looks like a skull.

I know a lot of people post that they are tired of these threads, but for me, while I disagree 99% of the time with Arken, I'm still glad he posts them.

It means at least one person on here is taking a look at Curiosity's pictures.

Now, while I disagree with him 99% of the time, I will admit that I do see the shapes that he points out. He also points these pictures out and many people see other shapes too. It can make for interesting discussions on here.

You have to admit, whether you agree with Arken or not, it makes for a nice break in all the gun controll/NWO/Chemtrail/Nibiru/Political discussions.

At least his pictures are not claiming we're all going to die or anything like that.

So keep at it Arken. While I mostly don't agree with you, I do support your activity in sharing things that you see!

Yo, I AM letting people know that it was colored in because I didnt see a big sign telling us that it was. Oh but arent you so smart. What part about my comment really pisses you off?> The part where I said its not a lizard? Its not. I can paint my own green outline but that isn't really the outline, is it? It's so hard to collect any sort of data from these pictures, makes me wonder why Nasa does it. I guess the Rover does other things as well because like I said, these pictures are terrible. But I do apprewciate them, its better than nothing. Atleast we get to see Mars. Anyway thanks for letting me know he colored it but no thanks for acting like a smartazz about it

Essentially, you are accusing Arken of doctoring his pictures in an attempt to deliberately mislead people in one way or another, which is why you followed it up by telling him not to deny it, because you've got the "proof", and will basically blow his claim out of the water if he tries.

I was annoyed and made the comments I did, because you were, in my estimation, coming off as if you'd cracked the case and gained the upper-hand, when in reality, you had completely misread the situation, and were accusing Arken of some trickery or obfuscation he was trying to commit, when none had taken place at all. Again, the entire point of him adding the green overlay was just to draw attention to what he's seeing, not to actually try and present it as an actual picture. You'd think that much would be obvious... and yet, your above post.

So I would say to you that in the future, if you don't want people calling you out for these types of things, it would perhaps be prudent to make sure that what you're accusing people of actually has some basis in reality.

OMG, let's get a group of rocks and arrange them in such a way to look like a lizard.

Some folks need a holiday or dose of a realism.

What a waste of space these "space rock" threads are. I'm beginning to think that these threads are being put up to discredit this site. Oh well I guess having to weed through crap like this to get to a gem makes it that much more enjoyable when you reach a thread that does have decent, intelligent, thought provoking info. meh.

This seems to be ignored in these threads.

I mean, the 3D images are available. The glasses are $3. But no one wants to look.

And I still didn't get an answer from you, Arken, about how the "lizard" looks in 3D.

I can tell you haven't looked at the anaglyph yet. "I don't have a pair of glasses" is not an excuse at this point.

Also, I told you what to do at UMSF.com. I said you can ask in a roundabout way, but you won't do that.

Also - every single time I have sent NASA an email asking a question, I have ALWAYS received a response. Are you sure you're sending them out??

Also - once again - HAVE YOU LOOKED AT ANY OF YOUR ANOMALIES IN 3D? I don't know how else to put it.

They all look NOTHING like what you are saying they look like in your OPs.

The fact that you will not do these things make me think that you just want attention - as you could have just made one thread for your anomalies.

I would like an answer about the 3D "situation". You have dodged that long enough, and I believe it's because you will not like what you see.

Looking for Martian anomalies and stuff is cool. Looking for life on Mars is cool.

But damn it - stop spreading ignorance and look at a 3D anaglyph for heaven's sake already. This is getting ridiculous.

Why are people scared of 3D? Is it the 3D or the fact that it may be rocks after all?

I haven't read into the thread so maybe someone else has already covered this...

The green tail is continuous while the original picture shows the tail section in two separate pieces...And right behind the front legs, there is a vertical break...Like two pictures were shoved together to make one...I'm not too sold on this one...
