I dont meditate very often

I do "lucid dream" which is probably what im experiencing

I have astral projected

There are your answers. Im probly not experiencing anything special, its just another useless experience the human body can produce. Ill get back to the non-fiction of science and forget the fictional spirituality im experiencing. Thanks for the eye opener.

No I cant answer it either. No humans can answer it. They can only try to relate with it. Only God can if he exists.

Some people believe that when we dream we are actually visiting 1 of our 144 soul extensions. I dont know if this us actually true or even if we have 144 soul extensions, I do know I have had some very strange dreams many of which are flying dreams and are lucid as I am aware I am dreaming.
In a dream if something doesn't quite fit to my waking life I immediately realise I am dreaming and set about trying to change things or control things, I usually end up flying.
Two nights ago I dreamt I saw a black pyramid shaped UFO in the sky which had a marble appearance yet the marbelling seemed to move, I waved to it and somehow I felt it had acknowledged me and it took off.
As it moved away I was lifted off the ground and drawn into the UFO, as I got closed to the UFO I was engulfed in a brilliant golden light which at the time amazed me and then I found myself inside with a group of other people who were just as dumbfounded as myself.
We were than approached by another person who said we had a choice to make, we can have our spiritual DNA altered so we can live to 1000 years and have memories of past lives or we can go back to our loved ones on earth and continue reincarnating in the great deception. I said I have a young family who needs me and then I woke up.
Now I doubt very much this has anything to do with memories of this existence.
Also there was a long hallway that I looked down and there were lines of soldiers in black Roman type armour.
They had lances and shields but had the skirts that you see in gladiator movies and Roman type helmets.
The guy noticed I was looking down there and he told me to look away as it didn't concern me yet.
I admit that this was a weird dream and one I think I will remember for a while.
As I said, what has this to do with my normal everyday life. Absolutely nothing.

I agree with several of the other posters...some dreams are silly, some scary, some comforting, and some seem to be so meaningful and real that we strive to figure out what they mean. In these instances I do think it very important to write the dream down and analyze and research and maybe, just maybe, get a glimpse of what the dream is trying to tell us. I've had such intense dreams that later I wasn't sure if I dreamt it or it really happened. I have felt extreme emotion, especially dreaming of a deceased loved one, that I was upset when I woke up to find it was just a dream.

Then I've had dreams like being kidnapped by Gomer Pyle who gave me gum to chew that made me talk like I was extremely drunk and incoherent so that nobody understood me when I yelled for help.

I think dreams are like the Pyramids...we will never fully understand where they come from and what they mean.

The way one of my teachers put it to me was this;
There are dreams with existential meaning and then there are medicine dreams.

The first kind have to deal with your mind sorting out your experiences, unprocessed emotions, and subconscious layering. These dreams are generally filtered and distorted perceptions of the body ID rather than the spirit within.

The medicine dreams are the territory of dream walkers, shaman and soul travelers. These can be shared dreams between different people as well. I've known dream walkers to visit other people and get information unfiltered by the other persons ego.

I knew at least one person would come to this thread with an understanding of what I mean when I say these dreams we have are truly incredible and unexplained like the one you just shared with me. I found that dream extremely interesting and I feel as if what your saying could be very true about the reincarnation vs. modified DNA. Of the number you give me, 144, you say people claim this is how many spirit extensions we have. Anywhere I can read more about this or do you know anymore about this that you'd care to share? That is exactly what I was pinpointing. I feel that sounds extremely true.

Interesting as well! Now I am getting some insight! Yes, I have the existential dreams where I dream about hanging out with a friend that I no longer speak with because he deceived me and bashed me many, many times. I know its a subconcious thing going on that I wish we could still be friends so I dream that we are hanging out like we use to, like nothing changed. I have also dreamed of him apologizing for everything that happened so this is exactly what your talking about, unprocessed emotions!

The medicine dream is the one im talking about more in this thread! I believe im having shared dreams between people I really care about. I get really emotional when I wake up from these dreams, as I said before, it feels like a video message they sent to me or something. This life truly is a crazy mystery

Whoa Bro... You've got me all wrong... If there is one thing I'm not skeptic of, it's the spiritual world. My point still stands that only you can decipher what is going on. When I was younger, near 18, I also could have epic dreams and the snooze bar was my favorite thing in life. I guess time ruins a persons ability to connect deeply with such world.

If you're really in control during these altered states. You should be able to stop and ask questions. In my experiences, my problem would always be a rush of excitement, which would ALWAYS awaken me.

I look forward to death.. I really do, because I know exactly where I am going.... Back to there, without the fear of awakening!!

im 19 so I guess im still very well connected!

I absolutely agree about the excitement of death, I too feel that it will be nothing more than an endless dream after this. So in that way you sort of become a "God", able to dream up your own personalized creations!

Yeah any books by Joshua David Stone. Its all New age type stuff, like I said I dont know if it is real or more of the stuff that people write in order to make a buck.
I have read a lot and take in what feels right and throw a lot away, I believe our answers are inside ourselves and we need to meditate in order to unlock some of these answers.
Most of what we read is disinformation created to confuse and entertain, keep us busy while the real stuff goes on behind the scenes.
As they say the truth is stranger than fiction, which involves dreams to a fair extent.

Im reading up on the soul extensions now and wow, this is exactly what I have been suspecting but didnt know anywhere to get more information about it. I knew there were different me's existing in different extensions of different realities. That is the only explanation for some of these dreams, thanks for sharing your knowledge!!! Truly amazing

I am 48 and I think my dreams are getting more interesting now than when I was young, I agree that the more
sleep you get the more vivid the dreams. Though I tend to sleep 6 - 8 hrs as I need less than when I was young.

do you believe in anti-gravity... multiple universes... experiencing hallucinogenics.. ???

don't answer.... !!!

your brain is capable of (under controlled circumstances and practices) amazing feats of so called endurance...

you will think something is 'cool' if it ticks your subconscious boxes....

are you tripping on something as we currently speak? Your posts both on here and on your own created thread to me resemble a person who cant really explain themselves because they are in an altered state of mind. You speak now of hallucinations so I guess what I suspected could very well be true.

Thank you Bro for your kind words. Those dreams were like being granted the wish for one more day. In them I knew I was dreaming because I knew my Mom had already passed and I was being blessed with more time with her.

In reference to your age...in my teens and early 20's I dreamt so intensely that when I woke I was exhausted from dreaming. I would start dreaming before fully asleep. I think age may factor in the intensity and quantity of dreams as I've grown older (46) I don't dream as much or as vividly as I did when younger.

Maybe as we grow older we give up on finding all the answers. We become cynical and just accept life as it is. But when you're young, the world is a huge amusement park, inviting you to come and explore and your mind travels in countless directions trying to find the right path to take. Your dreams could be an extension of this desire to find your way and maybe the familiarity you feel to those in your dreams could be like road signs to that path. Just a theory.

You are a mind with a body attached, not a body with a mind attached! Realize this and you are on your way to self-mastery. This is the new approach to the Conscious Mind through the other level that never sleeps, the Creative Mind. What you will discover is priceless!

By unblocking the mind-line this method automatically improves the memory, strengthens other mental powers, casting out self-doubt and self-defeat. It builds optimism, confidence, courage, and brings out latent talents, shows that you can grow rich ... in all things . . . material as well as spiritual . . . while you sleep

Hey there,

I wish I had an answer for you but unfortunately all I can do is tell you that I know exactly what you're talking about and I would really like to know why we have these experiences.

As for myself, I have had these "dreams" happen many times where I spend the whole dream with someone or multiple people and then when the dream is over I get a deep sense of sadness/loneliness because I miss them and want to go back. One dream inparticular has stood out for years. When I was 14 I had a dream I was in some sort of chariot (i think it was a chariot) talking to someone and we had such a deep connection and I had such a feeling of pure happiness. Finally, when the dream ended I just laid in bed confused about what had just happened because it was unlike any dream i've had before. Since then, I have remembered that dream and the feeling very clearly ever since.

These dreams are unlike any other and raise many questions, so when people say "ohhhh it's just a dream and your mind playing tricks on you" I know they haven't experienced anything like it.

Thank you for posting this, i've never really looked into it and I sorta thought I was the only one who had these weird occurances!

Dreams can be made of different realities like for instance your mind is calculating how many ways you can live your life, your past thoughts, different parallel dimensions, divine communication, emotions from our own material reality to the spirit world. Really our mind and soul is a doorway to the unknown sort of like time travel lol this is my interpretation anyway please don't assume this as fact.
