Love him or hate him... Rand's sticking up for everyone right now... left right & center.

Man... I cannot wait or the news articles tomorrow and the 'blow-back' congress will receive when this filibuster becomes (hopefully) top news tomorrow morning.

This is the most exciting thing to happen in US politics in a while.

I gotta say Im all pumped up.

He has my support, even if I cant agree with him on everything politically there are universal rights and wrongs, he has chosen the right side on this one and all political affiliations should be put to the back burner. We should celebrate mr paul today not as a political figure, but as a plain ole american.

I'll be checking back in on this thread when I get out of work. Keep it up guys and thanks again.

Rand Paul is a true patriot just like his father Ron. He is standing up for us all. Drone strikes against American citizens on our soil is against everything we stand for in this country. No trial executions are not acceptable under any circumstances. Please spread the word, the man is doing a great thing for all of us.

Does anyone else besides me have a problem viewing the live feed on C-SPAN? I've been trying to get it both on cable and internet for a couple of hours now, but it's been totally blacked out (geez, I wonder why?! they're in total damage control mode). Their live feed is talking about British policy regarding Syria. You all seem to not be having any problems viewing the live stream. Does anyone have another link besides C-SPAN?

We should never celebrate a politician. When will the people finally wake up and see it is not about the man it is about the idea. The idea is what we should celebrate and get behind not the man.


Getting behind the man is what the progressive PTB filth want. Because they know it is easy to tear a man down and the idea follows with the man. This is the very reason why we are wearing chains and crying that they are starting to fall heavy on our collective shoulders.

Can anyone here honestly say this is how a president should operate? This is a slap in the face not to republicans, but to every single American. This response proves to me that we need to get Obama out of office ASAP. I think we need to be looking for reasons to impeach him. Maybe this will even get whistleblowers to come out. I suspect Obama is mentally unstabile by his response. Totally serious here... We do not want someone like this in office. He is very dangerous.

what rand is doing right now doesn't even come close to the left/right or the in-party politics paradigm.
