Obama DHS Purchases 2,700 Light-Armored Tanks to Go With Their 1.6 Billion Bullet Stockpile

Well spray paint works great to disarm a stormtrooper advancing on peaceful protestors. Spray the helmet visor and they either are blinded or have to put the visor up and now their face is exposed.

How do you disarm a light-armored tank? How do you stop it in its tracks? How do you convince the home boys inside to fight on the side of the people?

I'm not kidding. We all need to know this stuff, apparently.

And, I hear that a shotgun would work real nice against a drone.

Truth is when the tanks are rolling on the street the only thing you can do is sit at home and barricade yourself, at MOST make yourself a swiss cheese sandwich.

drones can be shot down
these armored trucks can be neutralized with a coordinated effort
and bullets.... just take them back after you get the truck

I was anxious to see what the Obama cyber warriors had to say but was pleasantly surprised to see they have had remained silent. Well except for two fool wannabes who were too stupid to keep their mouths shut and made some non germane comments belying their level of intelligence...

Well while we all sit around and watch TV blab on the net talk about future elections or what ever we normally do it seems a faction within government is systematically preparing the logistics far a war on us the American people... Have to wonder how anyone could doubt now what is going on... I am sure many are still in denial and millions will be blind sided by it when it all goes down... As much as we don't want to believe it folks it's time!

Just to play devil's advocate -

I really hate the idea that it's gonna be an "us vs. them" mentality. Really, I do. I can totally see it happening and we don't stand a snowball's chance in hell to beat the government in an all out war.

So maybe, did anyone think, that they are preparing for another country to try and invade us? We have our military spread so thin across the world that if China, NK, and Russia all coordinately attacked the US we would stand the same chance as Civ's vs. Gov. Perhaps Obama and the gang know what other countries are plotting, with North Korea's nuke test - the continued debt in China - and the posturing with Iran.

Hopefully that is the case, because that means the preparation really is to protect us.

However, I fear I am wrong and we had better learn how to take these things out. My strategy is to try and convince those with the guns and riot shields that they are part of us... Instead of separating ourselves, since we are so separated they will tear us to shreds... With minimal effort.

Having said that you bring up a good point. Who are these people these fellow American making all these preparations for war on us? Are they just in denial and think like you mention that perhaps it is all for foreign invaders? Even though they are being told it is for civil unrest and domestic terrorism?

There is already an "us against them" mentality with law enforcement and federal alphabet agencies largely due to their actions against the people all these years . That makes it hard to convince many of them to be on the side of the people at least at this point. Although the sheriffs speaking out on gun control is encouraging. Perhaps when TSHTF and they see clearly the intent of their leaders many of them will turn to our side but they will not be trusted at that point and be feared as infiltrators.

Still the fact that so many Americans in LE are participating in preparing for war on the American people shows their huge disconnect with reality and the founding principles of America... I worry that the government will stage a false flag on military and or LE and blame it on civilians to really try and cement the "us against them" mindset and induce them to fire on fellow Americans. Sad times in the land of the once free...

Their "efforts to disarm the populace" have only resulted in a massive, unprecedented increase in the percentage of citizens who are gun owners, and a massive increase in number of guns and amount of ammo per capita.

The number of bullets purchased for what, a 5-year contract, by the DHS is paltry, considering the size of DHS, target practice, etc., and these 2700 light-armored vehicles, well...what does one do in the case of a tyrannical goverment intent on overrunning the people when there is almost 1 light-armored vehicle per 12,500 square miles. I mean, where do you hide from such a force?!

Honestly, I think this is a FAR more likely scenario than that if the government declaring war on the populace. Either, or neight, is possible, but reality can be funny in that completely opposing perspectives can seem equally plausible, depending on our own built-in filters.

I wouldnt doubt that this is true, after all, it is the US government...

But I dont see where this source provides any information on the number being sold to the DHS.

The video shows a vehicle but they dont mention the number of vehicles.

The Gateway Pundit's source is the Modern Survival Blog and he clearly says that its rumor and that he doesnt know:

Getting back to the video for a second, the scariest part was at 1:07 when he said "entry into house". They mean to use this against people in their own homes...

He also said that its capable of stopping a 50 caliber. They want to ban 50 caliber rifles...

Imagine if, due to some "act of terrorism", Obama declared a national emergency and postponed the election indefinitely. Thanks to the already thick racial tensions (purposely?) created by the liberal use of the term "racist" since the 2008 election, this could be the catalyst to a huge race war.

In such a case I'm inclined to think that DHS would "referee" more so than try to stop it. I'm willing to bet anything that all border enforcement would also cease. The ensuing violence would be the perfect excuse for extended martial law, and the suspension of the US Constitution. Ammo sales would become illegal, with gun confiscation to follow. The final phase of the NWO will be a cakewalk after that.

I'm sure some would think this scenario is far fetched, but before 9/11 virtually no one thought we would all allow something like The Patriot Act, and NDAA to pass without any fight whatsoever.

I think what is interesting is the fact that this thread, although it is on the front page has hardly any posts per normal and not that many flags or stars. I think when a "real" dose of reality comes into play, nobody wants to touch it. Just sayin....

This is getting a little creepy
What I don't get is, why does Homeland need 2700 of them, when it's already clear it won't do a thing to patrol the borders? Why do they need a couple of wars' worth of bullets, tanks and drones?

The bullet stockpile is false. If you look up the orders, you see they were actually modified. The last order ended up being only a couple hundred thousand. I posted the links on the last thread about this.

I hear this a lot. While it may be a good reading in a novel, I fear it bears no relationship to the situation on the ground.

Two things:

1) DoD and their forerunners have been in the propaganda and brainwashing industry for a century. They are good at it. They have captured the lions share of America's economic output (also black sources) so they have unlimited funding for social/psych experimentation, drug experimentation, aerosol experimentation, etc.

2) Significant number of our troops have been mentally damaged. Significant numbers of broken people (ex-troops and otherwise) have been recruited into the police and government. These people have left humanity and will do whatever they are told. Don't expect professionalism, empathy, justice, mercy or any other normal behavior.

Set the 700 lbs tires on fire and they can have all the armor they want on the thing and it wont help.

I'm just saying.

They are run flat tires, which require very little air, have a solid rubber core and the vehicle can still ride on the rims to an extent.

Even with all 4 tires on fire, if the vehicle stay moving, the air will still be breathable inside.
