Even though what we saw was not at all similar to your sighting, the circumstances were very similar.

About three years ago my wife and I were driving West on I-64 in Southern Indiana just across the river from Louisville, Kentucky. It was very late at night and there had been a very strong thunder storm with a lot of rain but the rain had just about stopped and on the Indiana side the sky was curiously clear.

We had just entered a section of the Interstate that was under construction and there was only one narrow lane to drive in with not enough room to pull over (sound similar?)

Suddenly I saw a flat black colored UFO with no shine on the South side of the freeway about 200ft. in the air at about the 10 O'clock position and it was just hovering while rotating with a small red light going around it.

I don't think there was any sound - just a swishing sound but that could have been my tires on the wet road. The bottom of the craft had something like diamond shaped window panels on the bottom and a very bright halogen blue light shining from the panels. Just before it went over the car I saw a tapered black pole which curves over the top of the craft and possibly one coming up from other side which I couldn't see. They didn't connect though but there was a gap about 2 feet? between them.

I asked my wife "What IS That?" She had to reposition herself slightly because I was driving and she was in the passenger seat. After a few seconds it traveled slowly to the North side of I-64 and even though it was still sprinkling rain she stuck her head out the window to get a better view of it. At that point I could not see it because it was about 2 O'clock high.

It was there just a few seconds and then it went back to the South side and I could see it better now. It slowly enveloped itself with water vapor? and disappeared and then reappeared in the direction we were traveling and seemed also clone itself with 6 other craft evenly spaced following us down the Interstate. They or it followed us for around 20 minutes.

When we got to the Illinois state line we were both totally exhausted and slept(or tried to) in the car at the rest stop for a few hours.

We also had a cell phone but no camera and the phone didn't have a camera in it (darn-it).

We have mentioned this only to a very few friends and I have been back there but no other sightings.

MUFON sightings in Indiana exist but none like ours. I have started to report this to MUFON but for some reason when I did it would not forward and the report disappeared.

Strange story but true. Both of us saw it!

Where is the proof those planes are "fake"?

You claim the planes "fade into existence" and provide a video which shows NOTHING BUT ordinary planes. Obviously you and the uploader must have something wrong with their eyes. Even as someone who considers this thread entirely out of place in the UFO forum (because it belongs into geo-engineering respective in the hoax/idiocy forum) I actually took a few minutes trying to see where the "planes fade into existence".

Sadly, I can't see it. Maybe the YT or anyone else has to wipe their monitor clean? Or the uploader/you never saw a plane flying by? There is also no triangle shape or anything else you claim.

You also claim the planes are fake since they are unusual because there are no logos on the planes or other detail. Funny because I just watched the video on YT and clearly see a WRITING on a wing.

Wrong. I watched the entire video.

Feel free to point out ANY of your or the uploader's claims, including the "orbs", and where the plane is allegedly "fading into existence"..or for god's sake just point out ONE, JUST ONE SINGLE thing in the video(s) which could make one believe it's not an ordinary plane.

I think that aliens have the ability to shape shift their advanced crafts into any object. They won't need to use stealth and people won't know they are actually ufo's in disguise. If I was an alien and had a ship I would morph my craft into what humans use in the skies to monitor their behavior . Makes sense until they want the population to know they actually exist when the time comes.

You are mistaken open-mindedness with gullibility. Any time someone says "open-minded" in cases like this, it is a red flag that the person is going to deny anything but their chosen point of view, despite evidence and logic to the contrary.
Sorry, but there is no evidence to show anything about the OP's premise is even worth considering. There is a plane there. It does not disappear in any more of a way than getting too far away for the lens to capture. The claim is made and needs to be proven by the people who believe it. Not by the people who (rightfully) deny the OP's premise.
A video with no support other than just watching it and believing......well, they should expect questions and calls for evidence.

In the game SPORE you control a galactic traveling UFO which you can use to terraform other planets in the Galaxy for your own purposes or to help the natives.

One of the "tools" is an atmosphere generator which makes clouds...

No I'm not being ignorant I've already stated before I believe in UFOs and ETs. In fact if an alien had landed and knocked on my front door I'd be happy to greet them. Then I'd ask if it knows anything about alien craft transforming into planes and see what they say.
