Sometimes the only place you'll find stories like this is the alternative news sites and it doesn't mean they are false. It means that the sources go to them because main stream media wouldn't give them the time of day. You'll notice that hardly any story you hear on ATS is covered by MSM unless its a major news event. You may see a local network affiliate pick up a story, such as "helicopters shooting blanks while flying over a freeway in downtown Miami." but that's as far as it goes. The stories are rarely picked up by the national network. MSM are under Obama's trance just like so many others. Suppression of the truth! I am beginning to trust these alternative sites more than I trust the MSM.

Where has anyone shown that DHS bought the targets of Pregnant women with guns etc? Cuz THAT was the claim...

Not asking for much but accurate truth and backing up crap.

If I say that President Bush planned the attack on the Behgngazi consulate...I'd expect people to ask for proof.

If you are going to claim that President Obama is preparing for war against American Citizens and had DHS buy targets of pregnant women to shoot...

You shouldn't throw a tantrum when someone asks you to PROVE IT.

IT IS YOUR CLAIM...NOT MINE.....SHOW ME THE PROOF.

NOT of DHS purchasing from this company...but purchasing THOSE targets...because that is precisely what you are claiming.

First, I'm not throwing a tantrum. You infered that there was no evidence that DHS ordered these targets. I provided a quote (whether one is to put trust in a quote from Infowars or not . . . and I'm no fan of Alex Jones) that LEtargets said these targets were for "DHS and LEAs only". So, by the company's own admission they were made for DHS and LE agencies. Again, if you dispute the veracity of the quote, that's another issue.

Second, I didn't start this thread and have never claimed it is "Obama" who is doing this. I don't buy into that "evil leader" rhetoric. So, my point wasn't to show that this is Obama's fault or doing.

As it is . . . my comment has been censored for calling you a name . . . so, we don't have to worry about any other posters seeing those links now. However, you wanted proof of DHS involvement with these targets and that was provided . . . albeit, briefly.

I obfuscate nothing...and the "functions" of my efforts are to uncover truth or expose BS...

DHS has purchased targets from the Private Company "LE Targets".

LE Targets has hundreds of different targets...

LE came out with a new target featuring a Pregnant woman with a gun...

Public outcry and attention forced them to near immediately remove the target from thier catalog...

Where in those facts do we find...."DHS buying targets of pregnant women"??

Because if it is part of your premise that President Obama plans on waging a war with American Citizens...it is not unreasonable for someone to expect thier to be supported evidence of such claims...and THIS is just the first sentence of the OP that fails the truth test...shall we move on to the other claims?

And the factual part of your post was helpful...The name calling was not.

I even looked at the contracts specifically in your link by clicking through the links...None were recent or this year...but reporting requirements might not include this year...

So at best your link showed that DHS has in the past purchased targets from LE Targets...it does not show that they have purchased THOSE specific targets...or that they have purchased targets even this year.

And no ...some anonymous IW poster who claims to have called LE Targets and reports back to infowars doesn't count as a source to me...

Again...FACTS matter to me..and FACTS and TRUTH are my agenda...nothing more...

I simply provided a quote from a representitive of the company that stated that these targets were "for DHS and LE agencies only".

I understand your position. However, why would the company say that they are for DHS if not requested or ordered? Maybe this company simply came up with this idea on their own and was marketing to DHS? Only the company or DHS can answer that for sure, but I won't hold my breath on either of those camps copping to this now based on the public outcry. From what I know of DHS, having a family member and friend that are employed with them since inception, I have no doubt they would order these.

However, with the only quote from the company coming from an Infowars article, it is fair to call into question the veracity of that quote.

Now...on a sidenote...that Sniper who got shot by the vet on the shooting range? He had a book about his time in Iraq. One of his first "kills" was a woman with an automatic weapon, long distance shot...standing behind a baby carriage...

Why would DHS order these if they did/ Why would LE Targets think there would be interest from law enforcement or DHS?

I suspect it is because it is a moral scenario...One that might not have a good outcome wahtever the choice? To shoot or not to shoot? Maybe there is value in finding out what an officer does in that scenario?

But to suggest that DHS gets its thrills from shooting pregnant women or that it is prelude to President Obama declaring war on the American People....BS in my strong opinion.

The "why" is the problem that I have with this. The only thing I can come up with is to desensitize or dehumanize. Agents may not be told this, but whether they are informed of this or not that is what will happen. Psychologically, we are dealing with the same issues that were demonstrated in the Stanford Prison Experiment and we witnessed at Abu Gharib.

I don't buy the "no hesitation" argument as anyone, even civilians, who are trained with firearms know that anyone pointing a firearm at you is an immediate threat. LEOs shouldn't have to see inappropriate sight pictures to bring that concept home. In addition, they already train in fire-houses and courses to determine "friendly or foe" and make split decisions and there are plenty of "hostage" silohuette targets to practice accuracy in those situations.

For me it's not just about the "pregnant lady". They have kids and elderly, as well, and all of these targets are in homes, schools, playgrounds, grocery stores. They do not represent "war zones" or foreign situations . . . they are all clearly "western" or American targets.
