I understand why some people want to outlaw ALL guns...I really do. It seems like a simple, easy way to get rid of a problem (gun violence). The problem with that logic is that all the laws in the world won't stop gun violence because criminals don't abide by the law. And, making stricter gun laws only serves to take away the most effective means of self preservation law abiding citizens have.

Guns will never go away. Nukes will never go away. Computers will never go away!

you are correct ciggerets do not kill people on their own they have to be smoked,radioactive clouds may kill people but usually only after a nuclear strike or accident(requiring in most but not all cases human action or negligence) tnt is the same but with more caveats in that after a time tnt becomes unstable and can blow up due to leaching of the nitro out of the sticks which then becomes shock sensitive but in most cases tnt does not kill people unless people use it to kill people

The fact law abiding citizens can be around every type of gun known to man and even grenades and not kill anyone I think poses a serious threat to the gun grabbing nanny state do as I say not as I do mentality... I do find that funny, and clever to even think someone with such a gun hating soul would ever begin to understand what this thread means and stands for..

I should know better than to assume people can think logically. Common sense seems to be a very rare commodity these days. I wish I could bottle it, but I imagine folks wouldn't have the common sense to buy it

My 14yo kid is a "Brony". Just google it, it's weird and harmless. He had a key layard hanging out of his pocket, with My Little Pony characters printed on it, and the principal stopped and harassed him to make sure it wasn't "gang related".

See if I could just bottle some common sense...Maybe I could give the first bottle for free? Ya think that might work?

When they support gun laws that created gun free zone they do indeed make it easier for a criminal to commit a crime.

Not everyone is going to agree on this subject.. As I can not with yours stance. The op has created an experiment and with that results were found that even though multiple loaded guns were left around did not lead to one single problem... Especially more evident that only thugs with weapons kill people. Not farmer Joe who enjoys collecting weapons..
