No trees, no additional structures on fire. Very self contained - so they're letting it burn. They also said it's just about done. I assume this means it's just about burned itself out.

Fox is saying the Dorner may or not be dead right now they are showing the burning home.

True they did not want to take the guy alive.

Owner's son on CNN just said the cabin was searched 2 days ago and it only has electricity. No phone, no Internet. Guy said propane was off.

Sort of a complete straw man argument there. Nobody was talking about the volume or qualities of the gunshot heard. Only that there was a gunshot heard, a single gunshot shortly after the fire began, but before the scanners started talking about ammo exploding. So where are you coming from with this?

no it was before ammo popped and was a single shot...I mean it could be, but the timing and it being single (not "ammo popping" gave it distinction..It was awhile later until ammo started popping.

Even so. I am glad no more innocent victims will be killed by this man. I cant say that for the LAPD though. They have some serious issues that they need to face. Also, for those who are upset about the LAPD, their handling of Dorner, his Manifesto, they have to keep up the pressure for change to happen. Its not good enough to cheer for a man they believed was wronged. They need to uproot those who are part of the problem. Its imperative, or you might see this happen again.

Home was searched two days ago... and yet this guy, who supposedly jacked a truck and just ran up in this cabin, had enough ammo in the house to blow off like that???!

oh alright didn't hear it on the scanner myself so i wasn't sure, i'm sure someone else heard it

No. They said "a single shot fired", and also that it could be ammunition exploding from the fire. Then the conjecture about a suicide by gun.
