AMPAC will be forcefully announcing its presence with a “Million Muslim March” on the White House on September 11, 2013. The goal, announced at AMPAC’s press conference in New York:

“We at AMPAC (American Muslim Political Action Committee) are planning a historic event for 9/11/13. One million Muslims will march to Washington D.C. and demand that our civil rights be protected by our government. We are demanding that laws be enacted protecting our First Amendment rights. We are asking President Obama to fulfill his promise from his first campaign for the Presidency of a transparent government. Lastly we are asking for the establishment of a real 9/11 Commission to reveal the truth to the American people.”

Divide and conquer seems to be working well. It always has.

The Muslims say 9/11 was an inside job? Funny, isn't that what so many of us have been saying all along too?

I mean sure. Why not start a natural resource grab, and spin it politically to make everyone feel that it was done as a way to start a war against Muslims?

This whole mess is so convoluted anymore I don't know WHAT to think. And that's EXACTLY what they want- Total confusion. One thing is for certain though, and that is they are turning people against each other.

I don't know how I feel about a million man Muslim march in DC. On one hand, I disagree with [SNIP] - but on the other hand, everyone here IS entitled to freedom of speech. And so who is entitled to make the call where sabotage begins and freedom of speech ends?

you say that you feel that muslims have a barbaric intent to take over the US, and yet you seem to acknowledge that they are by default defending the US constitution?

this is a contradiction, and you also seem to be keenly aware of this too.

is it possible that the propoganda and programming that you have been subjected is playing on some of your prejudices or fears and producing this internal struggle?

from my own POV, i can understand that a minority group wishes to protest/display their feelings in a united manner, and of course there are precedents for this happening, though seeing as they seem to have chosen 9/11 (i have not followed the link or looked for other sources re this story!) for this protest it does seem provocative and somewhat crass...
perhaps if they had chosen that date to show unity with the US people and publicly mourn the loss of life then they would garner more support, but then i guess that does not make a news grabbing headline for a network

Points to consider:-

*Christians and Jews do not get any protection in the middle east.
*They are not allowed to practice their own religion freely.
*They have to pay additional taxes aka Jizya.
*Our daughter's are being forcibly raped and converted to Islam everyday in Islamic countries.

whatever.... no nation that regards itself as decent or civilised should set it's moral compass based in relation what happens in other countries.

so some people from x culture/race/religion oppress people from y culture/race/religion in a far off land...

so the y's of a different nation should do likewise to the x's in some other place?

is this what you are advocating?

ETA: you are i suppose, aware that israel is in the middle east? that would seem to have a negative impact on some of your points.

They are demanding rights, not necessarily defending the constitution.

4 in 10 (American Muslims) said Muslims in America should not be judged by U.S. law and the Constitution, but by Islamic Shariah law.

not neccessarily, agreed, but those rights are part of the constitution, as far my my laymans understanding of it goes.. demanding rights is ok isnt it?

as i stated above, i feel that the date chosen for this is unneccessarily contentious and that a better method of getting the positive element of this message across is easily achieved.

Pictures speak louder than words.

A muslim's warning to French Army:-

Muslims continuously destroy Christian properties

Muslims burning the US Flag:-

there are countless pictures of humans of all types doing reprehensible things, i wont bother to post pictures of the other side as thats just playground tactics... it would go round in circles all day and is emminently pointless, not to mention that of course you will have seen them already, as i have seen those that you post - they add nothing to the debate.

so are you going to answer my first reply to your first post in this thread?

American Muslims demand that their rights are protected under the constitution?

They aren't much into the constitutional right of free speech for others who criticize Islam.

1/2 of US Muslims think people should be prosecuted for criticizing Islam while 1/8 think they should be executed.

A peaceful Muslim protestor in Australia 2012.
