What is the feeling like in America right now?

Terror threats? I didn't really notice anything except more ramblings that sounded more like another political attack. Even Osama I heard made a few statements acting like he was running for office or something stating what he thought US policy should be in the middle east. Whether it's threats or political attacks for all of the candidates running for office, it all starts sounding the same. I think many just want to tune it all out.
