NW Louisiana, Shreveport, 9:25 pm, severe storms announced arriving in this area. Wind gust high, perhaps over 60 mph. Large tree limbs hitting house here, rain, some lightning. The worst has not fully arrived yet. On watch here til 1 am. 3 tornadoes in NW Louisiana areas, one near Monroe. The weather channel tv feed just froze up. More tornadoes being reported for Arkansas as well...tv froze...didn't hear where others occurring.

Lots of debri hitting our roof now and thunder more evident. Some folks lookig out their windows as things getting noisy here. More and more warnings from Louisiana to Tennessee, (Memphis). Warnings in Missouri, Illinois, Arkansas, Lousiana. Moving 60 mph fast moving storms. Tv back. The weather is said it will accelerate during the nite.

Do y'all have tornado sirens there or a battery powered radio?
I think the worst of it has passed you or is passing you.

Stay safe.

It just went through here.. nothing to write home about.. didnt even lose satellite signal
It shows the tornado boxes, but it was just strong wind and etc. Really nothing like what we usually get here that qualifies as severe weather.
radar.weather.gov...

Maybe that will work..

Whew.....just made it through the squall line, it was bumpy. 105mph winds reported 1mile from my house and a spotter saw a rotation literally over my house.

Guys, just be safe and take cover now in eastern TN. Just sleep in your safe spot. Rough weather!

Our turn today.

One death reported from the storm in Tennessee.

Damage reported as storm front spawns reported tornadoes in central US and South

Winds starting to pick up outside. Weather says main concern of tornadoes is along the front of the front line spawning.

Glad to see you guys are reporting you're okay.

Same for me. When my husband let the dogs out this morning we watched a tree in the wooded area across from our house slowly fall over. Ick. I hate this weather!!

When I when to bed last night the temp was 52, this morning? 68!! (WTH... ??)

The squall line is only about an hour or so from us (West of Kville just off the plateau).

-------------------------------------------------------
Doodle & kdog, glad everything is ok!!

Destinyone, tnhiker & erik, stay safe!!

Stay safe my Friends....

Sorry to hear about the basement flooding. Our roof is leaking, husband's currently on top of the house trying to patch it.

The front line of the storm moved over us without so much as a severe thunderstorm warning. Lots of wind and sideways rain, but that was it. Thank goodness!

Hope everyone is fairing well!

(small rant.... a local weather guy was stating all morning the front line of storms wouldn't move thru until 11:45am, wow how wrong he was!! He was even reporting that crap as the storm was hit. Shameful. )

CSRA of SC (Central Savannah River Area).

winds pretty much steady at about 20 Mph, with gusts kicking up to 45 Mph here. 100 foot tall pines swaying pretty good. Partly cloudy to overcast. Clouds moving like they are in a the Indy 500.

Wind advisory warning the only one posted right now.

Front is well west of us reaching to Atlanta. Hate that, as it means this stuff won't get here until towards evening when it's getting dark.

I hear you.. they made a huge deal out of it here, sirens going off, sky got black, wind picked up, little bit of lightening, sirens going off, we're battening down the hatches.... and it rained.

We dodged the bullet this time. Just a few weeks ago we had a storm that peeled the shingles off of my garage like a banana and half the siding! No warnings or sirens for that one. The wind was so bad I probably need my back corner of my house tuckpointed.. Thank god its brick as Id have had siding in the next county.

I do think that this spring will be a wild one. Not armageddon, but its looking to be unsettled. Im hoping for a LOT more rain... damned gardens didnt produce for anything last year.

Ok so I lied. It is going to be rainy and windy.
I admit it already feels like the start of a hurricane out there.

I'm hearing reports from my friends in the Atlanta area:

- Multiple sirens going off
- DOT confirmed 300 vehicles blown off I-75 near exit 306
- 82-mph winds near Rome, GA

This picture just came in from Adairsville, GA.

Please stay safe, everyone!
