Oh, the embarrassment!

Leaves the meeting fuming, when council votes his motion down to have the war vet expelled from the meeting.

STOP infringing!

I swear, that video needs to go viral. It's a bit slow at first, but the context is important. Keep watching!

aw. councilman baldy had to run away from the big bad gun. i have to say im very impressed that the motion was voted down and with the mayor's words of apology and reaffirmation of the oath he and the other members took to UPHOLD the constitution. even the attorney made a good showing. maybe the first encouraging display i have seen on the boards with regards to the whole gun control issue.

A mayor who stands with a citizen instead of a few councilmen...

If we only had more of this guy and less of those traitors who decided to become drama queens and chose this moment to grand stand for the cameras.

Peace

Star and flag to you for the awesome vid.
It seems the council member forgot his place in the food chain.

The mayor spoke the truth. Total lack of class and absurd personal beliefs by the councilmen who's darkend britches were stained before running away.

The actions of that councilman were very cowardly. So he has made a commitment to work within the system yet chooses to walk away due to his fearful imagination. Our military men and women do not walk away when they are uncomfortable and if they did, there are consequences. He has no place in making decisions for other people and should return to his mothers basement where she can keep an eye on him for his own safety of course.

See now i may be extreme in my desire to rid our country of these law
breaking power hungry politicians but i think more should have been
done about the fact that a council member requested a vote on something
that would be illegal, he should have vetted that with the attorney before
doing such a thing, in this case i feel he should lose his seat as he
obviously does not care for the rule of law, that is unacceptable to me.

These people need to understand that they DO NOT dictate what is and
is not correct on their whims and desires, they must follow the law just
as we all do and if they attempt to break the law then there are consequences
just as there would be for any one of us attempting to break a law in front
of police and many witnesses. if you attempt to rob someone in front
of police then they arrest you, i think this is the same thing, he should
have been arrested for attempting to take this mans freedoms away
on his own whim. why do things always play out that way? trying to do
something illegal by force of vote is still trying to do something illegal.

That Veteran sustained damaged in the struggle for freedom and the Leftist coward wants to disarm him?!!!

Unfreakin' believable.

The Left is really trying hard to fundamentally alter this country.

What this all comes down to and is getting more and more polarized is the fact that we are being faced with two opposing forces.

One side who insists on taking responsibility for their own safety and is bound and determined to live a life of freedom for all, people who believe that they are best able to defend themselves

and

the other side who wants to delegate their security to a government approved entity because they feel they are incapeable of defending themselves.

One side has chosen NOT to be victims
and
the other side has chosen TO be victims.

One side chooses to live in fear
while
the other side lives in security.

One side enjoys their freedoms and liberties
while
the other side resents their freedoms and liberties.

This is a monumentous time in American history to be alive.
THis will decide what country we are to become from this moment forward.

Are we willing to live in freedom, even if it means freedom for people who YOU think don't deserve it?
OR
Are we willing to give up our freedom so that the other guy can't have any either?

We shall see.

What it will come down to is what it has always come down to.
Which side is more willing to DIE for what they believe in
AND
which side is more willing to KILL for what they believe in.

In know which side I am on.

One of our families is going to be dressing up
and it aint going to be mine!

HA!

I don't see why we just don't split the country down the middle, and each side go to the one they want to be on. They could even have their own separate governments. I mean I keep hearing how the country "is so divided". Then fine. Let's divide the damn thing physically and be DONE with this BS.

I swear.

And right in the middle there could be the Demilitarized Zone, too.

The democrats can tax themselves to death and have a massive government handing out what they don't have, and come crying and screaming over the boarder when the money runs out. Except this time we'd tell them to go straight to hell.

A comment on youtube summed this up rather nicely.

I quote: "That councilman left just to stand in line next to another concealed carry holder at Walmart."

I'm not American but surely this is a very realistic scenario right? Chances are he walks past people every day with CCW.

What a muppet.

I honestly think he was being over dramatic about leaving.

This actually seems pretty badly acted/staged.

If not, then even though I'm not a gun supporter, I have to say good on the Mayor/chairperson for standing up for the laws and rights as they stand.

Thanks for posting that, the mayor needs re-elected
and the other 2 members need the boot.
At least some of them still have their heads on right.
