I got punched in the face for asking for my receipt; literally.

This is a proof of Contractual Obligations.

Yes I did buy this from you.
No you didn't.
Yes I did.

It's a matter of comparing variables, and instilling the principle of contractual obligations
each time that I enter a store. I want to make sure that I ask for my receipt, analyze it,
and then in turn make sure that the clerk follows the point of transaction regulation set in place
to mitigate this type of procedure.

"No authorities to regulate it." Yeah, that's because it's always been a natural law
between business' and traders.

All moot vernacular jargon that youre trying to use to make yourself sound, what, smart? Sorry, friend, not here on ATS. We weed people like you out for breakfast. Or in this case, while the wife is at work. Its becoming a hobby. You're unique though, I'll give you that. You can dodge points with the best of them. Too bad it just highlights your ignorance even more.

Because the clerk isn't here.

Besides, your argument there is basically "he started it" which hasn't worked for me since I was 5.

As I said earlier, if someone shoves you, walk away and lodge a complaint. Don't try and grab things to hold your ground, or fight back.

(inb4 MUH FREEDUMBS - I'm talking about this specific case, there's a difference between this and a burglar in your house)

What? No. How are you guys aggregating my posts? They're sporadic, however, I refused
to leave because I wanted my food, a guarantee, and or the receipt now as well. I refused to leave
because I wanted him to stop swearing at me and to give me my food and or the requests above. All he kept saying was "F you." on repeat,
until he took away my food and manhandled me after shoving me in front of his counter.

He man handled me after he traveled around his counter to grab me.

After fighting with him, to not leave the store, and get my food and go since
I could tell now that he was a violent person and not just an irrational person,
I then proceeded to throw two punches at him after I had gotten up from the ground
from being dragged across the floor

So.. you wanted a receipt for food you hadnt bought yet. You refused when they told you to get out. You resisted and punched the guy.. over a receipt when you hadnt bought the food yet.

Yes.. you really need to take this to court. Id pay to see it.

You are as much to blame for that.

You could have NOT been so weird when just saying "excuse me, can I have a receipt?" ....end of story.

You made it into an issue and frankly, deserve the reaction you may get from people you tired to involve. Turning to other customers to try and make a scene is just ridiculous. IF you pressed this guys buttons, you did so knowing full well he would curse you out. You WANTED to make a scene, and you got it.

Next time just ask for what ever nonsense you want instead of making it a "legal" thing. By the way......what the hell do you want your receipt for? To make sure he didnt over charge? Are you buying that much at once that you cant add up the items in your head while on line and know what you are going to pay?

Or is it just because you can.....?

If you think it's a hoax that sending someone a bank statement or
a record of documentation for any purpose, whether it be for their
personal benefit, or if the person requires that you guarantee him or her
next time the record in conjunction with their purchase is a hoax,
then by all means, laugh at your mail which includes probably; your Bank Statements, and
when Bank Tellers tell you that you need to sign a receipt to make sure
you withdrew your money

Manual register - "POST RECEIPT" button...

...it prints the last sale's itemized receipt.

All manual registers have the X-tape with the daily reports and the customer or duplicate tape that prints such receipt.

Perhaps I'm missing the context of your situation.

I wouldn't worry about your receipt for your receipt's sake when it comes to restaurant or food stuffs purchases. In most cases they are non-refundable items (and by nature) - some grocery stores insets you return food for only store credit towards more food.

The real reason all these stores remind you to get your receipt or have a sort of reward hotline to let them know that the attendant didnt give you a receipt is to prevent theft. The other night I was at a packed bar for a friend's birthday. Each time I went to the bar to purchase a beer, the very busy bartenders did a "NO SALE"...meaning, the illusion of a sale was created, but without the pesky paper trail....in other words, I paid the bar tenders for my beers, not the bar owners...

Well, the security camera wasn't operational the cops told me.

I said to check the cameras. I said that I was merely trying
to ask him to stop swearing at me and to guarantee me a record
of contractual obligation.

Nobody is saying you weren't entitled to a receipt, we're saying you should have handled the situation differently.

Maybe if you weren't being such a Richard, you would actually get nice customer service.
I also do work in retail and most people do not want their receipt. In fact I have even worked at places where the cash register doesn't even print the receipt automatically.
I would have probably refunded your money then tell you to also get the f--- out, if I was the one serving you.

I also think we are only hearing part of the story here.
You say you were even banned from other stores? Maybe you need a reality check before going out in public.
