Gonna go with suicide.
State enjoys making examples of hackers and such. sends fear into the hacking community when someone gets sent away (compy nerds don't like the idea of jail).

I can imagine weak personalities committing suicide, but not his type of personality - (and you can tell by his picture) Happy with himself, outgoing, active and vocal.

And then suicide at only the prospect of prison, not even indicted? .. I don't buy it.

This video and his campaign to try and get more progressive candidates elected into government makes it all the more suspicious.

Holy #..there comes to be a point where all the 'conspiracy' stuff makes too much since to be a complete coincidence.

Sure sounds like an assassination. The PTB wanted to take down this kid big time.

Lots of recent stories like this.

It seems that the PTB are getting nervous.

So what is your opinion ATS? A suicide, as reported, which could be explained by the pressures of a court case?

Or is foul play involved and an influential internet freedom activist was eliminated?

Look forward to hearing your opinions!

I personally would lean towards a suicide due to the proximity of his court case, but would not rule out the depth elites and copyright organisations would go to silence opposition or make more money.

Well, with all the recent mysterious deaths of top people in the gun industry, it wouldn't surprise me if they are trying to silence all the opposition that they can.

It's possible, but who would it be calling the shots? THATS WHAT I WANNA KNOW :I

There are a lot or holes in the story. Wait and watch for the real details to slowly leaked out. Then the picture will become cleare.

Hey this stinks to high heaven.. Very easy to fake a suicide. All those saying 'why would they bother' when they are going to imprison him any way forget the motive - to silence him.. Reason for the round up is to get influential people dead before some big event, this is like 'night of the long knives' in nazi germany, silencing oposition.

reminds me alot of the method described in this piece (fiction) - westernrifleshooters.wordpress.com... -
"Remembering the numbers from our earlier conversation, I told him that removing a few dozen of the worst reactionaries wouldn’t change anything. Other fast-talking right wingers would just take their places. Except they would be angrier than ever.

“Not dozens.” He paused. “Around two thousand, actually.”

The new number shocked me. “That’s not possible.”

“No, it’s very possible. We’ve studied it from every angle.”

Clearly, he knew more about a plan than he was letting on. Nobody was closer to the President than the two of us and his wife, and I had heard nothing from the boss, not even a hint. “You’re making this up. You’re not serious. Is it a joke, or a test? I wasn’t born yesterday.” I had to be careful. This was dangerous territory, when any spoken word could be recorded almost anywhere. Trust in a man like Dennis was a very slender reed upon which to cling.

“No, I’m very serious,” he said. “Here’s how we came up with two thousand. I was given a copy of a new law enforcement software program, one that Justice had for testing and evaluation. A refinement of the social networking analysis stuff. Data-mining, all of that. We put it on a clean computer, adjusted it for our own parameters, and made the list. We tried it at different levels from ten up to ten thousand. The optimal number for the greatest effect with the least initial disruption came in at about two thousand.”

I wouldn't be so alarmed if it weren't for several prominent internet movers and shakers dying recently in mysterious circumstances.

Keith Ratliff - Tied to a chair and shot in the back of the head

John Noveske - Killed in "mysterious" car crash
.. this is Swartz's blog - www.aaronsw.com...

He was anti-PIPA /SOPA... but more importantly, he was high up in Reddit (co founder i think), Reddit is massively influential on the internet. Perhaps if feds want to start using the fema camps and want the internet not to know for a while they just make sure reddit makes sures no stories hit the top?

Anyone know of any other internet personalities dying or disappearing?

Alex Jones seems more paranoid(?) and scared than usual lately,.

It is odd that most of the suicides by hangings were done to loners. They are easy targets for killers that want to stage a suicide. The computer wiz most likely picked up scandalous information that was going to be used to get lower jail time. He should have protected himself by never being alone. Most suicide investigators are lazy amateurs who would rather let the perfect crime be committed than attempt to solve it. Ninety percent of suicide hangings of well-known people are murders, it is the perfect crime.

I think those in the federal prosecution team working on the case against Aaron should be charged with manslaughter at the very least.

Another brilliant out-spoken activist gone! Questions and doubts abound about his untimely death.

People send condolences to his family, discuss his philosophy about his passion, and eulogize him for a month or less.

Then, just like the death of Brietbart..................nothing. "They" are counting on the nothing. Investigators have already closed the books, so to speak----calling it just another physically or mentally out-spoken activist. It's funny how these deaths occur just prior to a potential exposure in court or print of something untoward.
