He's right. There isn't a spending problem.

He rakes in the money. And has no problem spending it.

Our spending problem was driven primarily by two "unfunded" wars and occupations followed by the worst financial crisis since the great depression.

Flat out lie!

Blame war all you want does not make it the truth like 50 million people on SS, 50 million on Medicare, or 50 million on Medicaid, or the 47 million on welfare using their EBT's to have a good time at strip clubs.

Sure it has nothing to do with people getting more out of other peoples tax revenue than they return in to that .

Guess what current federal spending on entitlements alone is 2.2 trillion dollars. and it has been 2.2 for the last 10 years which means the last decade of entitlement spending is over 20 trillion dollars.

But then again the liar in cheif campaigned on "ending the wars" which haven't ended but expanded.

So yes we do have a spending problem

Exhibit A:

The American republic has endured for well over two centuries, but over the past 50 years, the apparatus of American governance has undergone a radical transformation. In some basic respects—its scale, its preoccupations, even many of its purposes—the U.S. government today would be scarcely recognizable to Franklin D. Roosevelt, much less to Abraham Lincoln or Thomas Jefferson.

Exhibit B:

In 2010 alone, government at all levels oversaw a transfer of over $2.2 trillion in money, goods and services. The burden of these entitlements came to slightly more than $7,200 for every person in America. Scaled against a notional family of four, the average entitlements burden for that year alone approached $29,000.

LoL nice princess bride quote........

This is how this guy got elected again, he keeps repeating the same crap he did in his first term, and people believed it AGAIN......despite the fact he lied the first time around!

Just like he said he wasnt going to go for our guns......lmao its barely january and BAM!

This guy is so full of crap......

Thats the methodology tho, keep saying something over and over , even if it isnt true, until its accepted as such....

Im literally baffled how this guy talks out both sides of his mouth, we dont have a spending problem but every bill that gets put forward has so much friggin pork, that has NOTHING to do with the bill in it, that it boggles the mind.....

Were in SOOO much debt we can never hope to pay it off, but we have to raise taxes, to cover our non spending problem......

STOP SUPPORTING THESE PEOPLE!

(breathes)

Yeah, what he said.....

Well, you just about summed that all up.
Good work.....

All I can add is ..... who were the dummies that fell for his line of BS again ??!!

He’s partially correct but he left out the punch line…

He should have said, “We don’t have a spending problem – I’ve got all the blank checks I need.”

Yes, I’m so proud of my country these days.

I have no intention of debunking your same BS on every thread. One thing to bring light to ignorance, but you can't educate willful ignorance.

The numbers you qouted? I drilled down on them with links the last time you posted them.

As far as "entitlements"...ponder the meaning of that word. It wasn't always said as if you were spitting at the same time. The reason that they are called "Entitle"ments is because they are FUNDED....deposits by folks entitled to withdrawl those same funds.

Can you imagine going to your bank and looking to make a withdrawl and the bank manager complaining you are a leech and an "expense"...cuz they want to sepnd your money elsewhere?

The WARS your idealogical bretheren celebrate were UNFUNDED...entitlements? FUNDED as long as the Gov. doesn't spend those folks deposits on adventures overseas in search of oil for the GOP masters.

We have a corporate welfare problem as in tax the rich so the "less fortunate" can go out and buy more corporate products. and when that cash is blown rinse and repeat.

All social engineering programs are corporate welfare.

So Obama answers to the “GOP masters?”

Obama is deeper in bed with ‘the machine’ than any POTUS in history.

Hardly considering the employee only pays 6% someone else has to match that by law like the employer which does not cover the benefits received which is why they always seek to raise taxes to cover the difference.

All social programs work that way thus no one is entitled to the benefits received now if a person paid 100% in to benefits received they would be "entitled" no one in this country does because if they did there would be no deficits or debt.

Scams worthy of Wall Street.

neo96,

Your government's fiscal problems are much more fundamental.

They continue to use a flawed formula for deriving revenues when they create their budgets. That leads to deficits, which leads to government interventions in attempts to correct.

But, because the base formula is wrong, the corrective actions are also wrong, which just leads to higher deficits and eventually, larger debts.

Until the government throw's Laffer's Curve out of the equation, this will continue. (Yes, Laffer's curve has been proven inaccurate by actual observations).

That is a fallacy.

Social Security was never set up as a "trust fund" that people paid into and received a profit on their forced savings.

It was set up and remains a ponzi scheme. It has been paid for by new people paying into the system to cover the payouts to reciprients, since the very beginning.

The insolvency began when LBJ and congress starting raiding SS to pay for the War in Viet Nam and the "War on Poverty".

Prior to 1973 and Roe v. Wade, there was roughly 14 paying into the system for every one being paid out.

Now it is 3 to 1, and will soon be 1:1 and completely insolvent.

They don't believe it.
They know that he is going to spend until the dollar is dead but that he will keep handing them money as fast as he can print it.
They have such a deep seated hatred of America that they will help him destroy the dollar because it also destroys America.
This is who they are now.

Obama wants Cloward-Piven Scenario to happen.

In order for the collapse of the system within America to happen, he has to spend. He has to raise the debt ceiling again.

Obama doesn't have a spending problem, because he wants to see the current version of America destroyed.

But he can't do it without the cowards and traitors in congress, though. They have to approve it. Both republicans and dems.

When history finally records the final days and destruction to America, there are going to be a large cast of characters to choose from.

If the debt ceiling is raised, again, then we might as well just call the US, "Greece v2.0". Because that's what the idiots in DC want.

When he tries to fully "fundamentally transform" America - after the collapse....he will be able to deflect the blame from himself and put it on the Congress and more importantly on the system which he will then try to change forever.

He is correct. We don't have a spending problem because billionares hoarde too much money and the government allows it. Start a trust fund, an offshore company, take your money to switzerland and deposit it annonymously, whatever works and is easier.

Start as many wars as possible based on all kinds of pretexts, like who is an allawite or sunni, who make believe attacks america(cia), give as many corporate bailouts as possible to the same people that speculated all the depositers money away(embezzlement).

Then tax the middle class into poverty to make sure the bilderberger masons can consolidate their position by acquiring middle sized business like microsoft does.

Sooner or later the government will go broke and we will finally get mr rothschilds version of "socialism" with chips in our shoulder and debit cards to spend as long as we are good litttle slaves and do not complain about our bosses corruption.

All hail to zionism and the whore of babylon. WORK HARD!

No they aren't funding it hence the tax the rich and the taxes raised on everyone in this country pay attention to current events.

Yeah I do thank Bush for spending 5 trillion in 8 years, and the current "lord and savior Obama" gets nothing but contempt after his 8 years he will have spent over 11 trillion.
