Err your point? You went to some orphanage in India to help some kids with AIDs? Are you expected everyone to applaud?

Wow...well done! My point was RD, and I know you are smarter than this, is that you were wrong with your "judgement" of me. That post was for your benefit and in defense of myself and who I am. But it is obvious that no one can win with you. You're just a bully. You will bash everyone no matter what they say. So I'm done with you. Good luck finding more people to annoy and bully which is your only motive here.

Peace and Love to you!

The point is the way you relay your wonderful attitude over the net, what this poster has claimed doing sounds Christ like in a Devils world and your reply is the devil giving birth to the Antichrist.

I have read some brilliant responses from you in the past but this reply to a person helping children is rather depressing

*sigh*
Well, as long as people like you are hopeless about the possibility of changing things, and call people who are trying to make a difference naive or not worthy of your attention, you're right. There are LOTS of you on this board who would PREFER the world to end, and soon!, and see no way out.

I will never live with that kind of despair. I will always look for solutions, and suggest them. You are free to skip my posts and wallow in your black misery of negativity all you want. Don't expect me (or anyone else) to join you there.

What you CAN expect is to be told that you are PART OF THE PROBLEM if you are NOT part of the solution.
So, booya.

I don't know what the hell your problem is, but you are very negative, jaded, and your ATTITUDE is COUNTERPRODUCTIVE.

End of chat. I want no part of your negativity and hatred and arrogance.
Yours, or that of anyone like you.

A defense? That was pathetic. You do know that most students will end up doing the same thing around the world? Does it suddenly make them loving? compassionate? Good people? No it doesn't. They only do it for their university applications. You start mentioning how people on this forum are ignorant while you talk about non-existence love and peace for others. That is true ignorance. Now call me a bully, I couldn't care less, but think more about what you say. In the end, love will never triumph.

Your calling me counterproductive eh? Well your not being productive either. Sitting on a computer calling for love and peace is doing nothing but make you look like a fool. Please don't judge me. If you've seen my previous posts, I never act like this. But when I see people like you on this forum, it makes me tear my hair out and stamp on the floor. Look at the world around you! Take of the rose-tinted glasses for heavens sake! It's much better to see the world through a realistic perspective rather than acting like you! Its not called being negative. It's not call being miserable. It's normal thinking.

"Please don't judge me." ??
Why ever not? You just said that I'm naive, useless, and foolish.
You have just shown that you know nothing about me, what my background or experience is, or my posting history, but you feel entitled to dismiss me out of hand AND insult me.

"I never act like this." ??
Uh, yes, you do. Obviously.

As for your pathetic lashings-out at people who are doing something EVERY DAY, and who have spent countless hours helping others....you mock and denigrate them, belittle them. I've seen how you treated Texture, I won't post my own history as that would give you ammo - to cause more hurt and division.

Tell me, sir, what makes you feel that is necessary or helpful? What are YOUR suggestions? War and more war? Cutting out people's tongues? Fingers so they can't type? Ripping their dignity from them and rejecting their very REAL contributions to goodwill and global understanding? I've helped more people with difficult issues than I can count. Dozens upon dozens. Just because you are not one of them doesn't erase those who I know were touched by my presence and my ability to LISTEN.

You are an example of the hatred, ignorance, and pessimism that is the problem in this world.

No need to take out your misery on others. We see it. YOU know so much about the world? You tear your hair and stomp your feet and think love is useless? YOU deal with it.

I wasn't going to bother with this further, but what the hell...

First off: you are a bully and like all bullies, you enjoy it so of course you embrace it. Good for you! Loving and compassionate people live loving and compassionate lives. Miserable, angry victims like yourself live miserable and angry lives full of hate. It is obvious in your posts. How very sad. But be a victim because it gets you the attention you crave. There's other ways to get attention but they take work...being a victim takes no work at all...

Most students will end up working as missionaries around the world? Are you kidding? Where did you get this information? People that go into places like I have been to help people don't do it for resumes or applications or for any hidden agendas. They do it for completely selfless reasons. You just seem to have trouble believing there are good people in the world and I am truly sorry you feel that way. I don't know what happened to you in your life but the past is over...it no longer exists. You can have whatever future you want when you stop playing victim.

You say "love will never triumph." Is this a battle? Are you on the side of evil because you think that is the side that will win? If so, good for you! The world is full of terrible things and terrible people. Horrible things happen every day all over the world. This will never stop me from being a loving and compassionate person and never stop me from wanting to help. Helping others benefits me more than anyone I have ever helped.

You call me ignorant (and I called no one ignorant...please feel free to show me where I did). I don't look at life as a battle so I am not looking for anything to "triumph" over anything else. For me, my triumph is my love and my faith. Just because love is "non-existent" for you doesn't mean it is non-existent.

This is from the Dalai Lama: "The ultimate source of a happy life is warm-heartedness. This means extending to others the kind of concern we have for ourselves."

RD: I honor the place within you where the entire Universe resides. I honor the place within you of love, of light, of truth and of peace. I honor the place within you, where, when you are in that place in you, and I am in that place in me, there is only one of us. Namaste!

RD: I love you! Now isn't that awful!

Let's look at this in a different light. There are many readers here, who may or not respond to posts on here. If said reader was very down, and was about to cause chaos at a local mall, but logged on here first, and found some encouraging words of love, wouldn't it be worth it? Now, said person is going to think twice because this thread caused them to think. It may have not given all of the answers, but it made them take a step back and think, and that is well worth it.

Yes, the world is messed up as you say, but sitting back and just viewing saying it is messed up, does not assist the collective. It is like when an older lady looks at a younger lady for having a baby and shaking her head and saying, look at her, she has now ruined her whole life. But, where are the solutions given? Where is the support system for this younger lady.

If no solution is going to be given, why speak on said subject?

To get a better Idea of what the Islamic Dajjal is, you need to consider what was said from one of Mohammeds companions back in the day. This guy had an interesting vision which may explain Dajjal a little bit better. I am only adding this because I didn't see it anywhere else in the thread.

Originally a priest Christian, al-Dari lived in southern Palestine and belonged to the Bani al-Dar—a clan of the Banu Lakhm tribal confederation. His first contact with Muhammad was in 628 CE when he led a delegation of ten other Bani al-Dar members. Previously Muhammad granted Bani al-Dar a part of the revenues of conquered land after the Muslim victory at the Battle of Khaybar. Al-Dari confronted Muhammad to receive the revenues and after meeting him, al-Dari embraced Islam and settled in Medina.

An interesting perspective of where Dajjal may come from and the possible link to the Mark of the Beast.

Could there be a link between the Bible and what was said in the above Video and also with what is written beneath? Its certainly somethin worth considering.

Great explanation of Dajjal

“Narrated al-Nawwas ibn Sam'an: ….We said: Allah’s Messenger (peace be upon him), how long will he stay on Earth? He said: For forty days, one day like a year, one day like a month, one day like a week, and the rest of the days will be like your days….”(Sahih, Muslim; Sunan, Tirmidhi)

It will only be at the very end of his life on earth, therefore, that Dajjal’s day will be like our day. Secondly, Dajjal, the False Messiah, will be in ‘our’ dimension of time when ‘his day’ would be like ‘our day’. Hence he would be in ‘our’ world only at the very end of his life when he enters into ‘our’ world in order to complete his mission of
impersonating the Messiah.

The promise of Allah Most High was that the Messiah would rule the world from the throne of David (‘alaihi al-Salaam), i.e. from a Jerusalem that would be the heart of the State of Israel. And so it is clear that Dajjal will be
physically located in Jerusalem at the very end of his life on earth, and at that time, since ‘his day would be like our day’, it would be possible for us to see him. At that time we would see him as a Jew, a young man, powerfully built, with curly hair etc. He would also have to be the Ruler of the world who would rule the world from Jerusalem.

Just a different look at the subject. I don't think Islam is what we should be worried about. It seems as though Dajjal/Antichrist will possibly be one of our own or a Jew

And to some of the posters above, what has your arguing got too do with the topic of the thread?

Thank you very much for the information here. I have studied theology over many years and this Dajjal or Islamic version of the supposed Anti-Christ is new to me. I will study it further. I don't believe in an Anti-Christ so perhaps I passed over it without giving it much thought when I read the Qur-an.

I find the Qur'an to be much like the old testament. Although, one thing I enjoyed was early in the book it stated that Christians, Jews and Sabians need to stop fighting with one another. That was actually quite refreshing to read.

As far as the arguing, arguments always spring from discussions on anything. Much can be learned from an argument. For me an argument and a debate are the same thing. I, however, certainly don't believe arguments require name calling and any other form of rude behavior. Expressing opinions in a rude manner tends to make one miss the message and only remember the nastiness...

Peace...

If you notice Muslim teachings just as Christian teachings in the New Testament are centered around the actions of the Roman Empire.

Thoughts of Rome were in the thoughts of just about everyone back then and even Religious Text was centered around Roman activities.

I don't think its a Anti Jew/Anti Muslim thing when it comes to both sides. I find that politics are causing more problems than anything else right now.

The arguing I am seeing has nothing to do with the thread. Even though it may of started out a debate about the subject, the last few posts I read had nothing to do with Dajjal..

an antiChrist is anyone who denies that Jesus Yeshua Yehoshua (however you want to spell it) is the Christ. That would include traditional Jews, Muslims, atheists infact anyone who isn't a Christian.
With that in mind, the muslim description of the antiChrist is not to be relied upon.

Muslims honor Jesus as the Christ (messiah). Which is why he is known as Isa al-Masih.
Since denying Jesus as the messiah is the pre-requisite of an "anti-Christ"... muslims don't fall under the "anti-Christ" category.

It's strange how you end up trying to look like a victim and make me look like some bully. I recall you being the person who first attacked the OP and attempted at causing heat in this thread. I'm not going to reply to you anymore because it is obvious you'll keep on trying to paint yourself a victim and me as an aggressor.

And to some of the posters above, what has your arguing got too do with the topic of the thread?

Sorry. Drifted into offtopic.

Just a different look at the subject. I don't think Islam is what we should be worried about. It seems as though Dajjal/Antichrist will possibly be one of our own or a Jew

By 'one of our own' you mean Christian? Well he will appear from somewhere between Iran and Syria and will be adored by Israel. So he could either be posing as a Muslim or a Jew but will be a hypocrite.

Not a chance. The antichrist will most definitely not be a Muslim because any Muslim who can mobilise the masses will be murdered by the American-Israelo Axis.

The Dajjal will be a leader of people of great power. Do you think such a Muslim could exist and live.

Could the Dajjal/antichrist be Tony Blair?
