sorry, not sharing this hypocritical trash..........

I love when people with crap loads of money, and who do whatever they want whenever they want......many times getting out of crimes that we would be locked up for.......

Presume to tell me to give up MY rights.............

Sorry, while youre busy living above the law, the rest of us still have to take care of ourselves and each other.........

And my guns arent going anywhere..........

This is the bit I don't fully understand.
And please, I don't want an argument, more a debate to teach me?
You say it is your right. What if that right was taken away, and less kids died?
Would you be happy. I am really only asking a question here

Thanks

Not at all man , def not gonna bite your head off........

The thing is......less kids arent going to die.........the criminals are still going to have guns........

weed was illegal........meth is illegal, coc aine is illegal........many things are illegal.........people who are criminals will still get what they want......

Trust me.........if the criminals would never get the guns then maybe id think about..........the problem is , the gov still has guns.........

The fact that the gov is basically telling us, we can have guns but you cant........is a kin to them telling me they are the good guys and were the bad guys, and we cant be trusted thats why we cant have them.........

Im sorry, im just not comfortable with that, and with as corrupt as our gov is, we know damn well that handing them all the cards in the deck during this game is a very very bad idea..........

The political players in this whole thing are using the incidents of the shooting to push an agenda.......nothing more.........it isnt about the kids......im sorry , thats sad, and its horrible and my heart bleeds for them.........but its not.......and the people pushing this agenda hard arent thinking about them at all.........they are thinking about their end goal........this whole thing with the kids being shot was just a stroke of luck for them......

My brother ended his life with a gun..........and not for a minute to i blame his access to having a gun for it......it was his decision to do so......

I had a cousin shot mulittple times by a man on the street..........it wasnt the guns fault, it was the psychopath carrying it.......

Ive been shot at in war zones........MANY times........had friends shot..........its not the guns fault...........

I have a pistol that has sat in my night stand for years, and its never shot anyone.........

Guns arent the problem.......people need to stop trying to find a scape goat...........

The PROBLEM is our mentality in society to blame somethign OTHER then the cause........which is ourselves.....

It is society its self , that refuses to be accountable, that refuses to understand what fosters the kind of things that makes people freak out like this...........

Sometimes its just a mental health issue no one could have stopped, other times its the product of a society who has quit giving a DAMN about anyone but themselves..........so when something happens........they want to place blame on something else..........its the guns fault........

We went generations and generations, where guns were so prolific in every house hold that people would call you crazy NOT to have one........

And in those days we didnt have shootings this bad, we didnt have incidents like this.........its because people have lost their HUMANITY, and their sense for other people..............not because of an inanimate object.......

You never see a gunman bent killing a bunch of people run into a police station........you know why? Because he knows hell be killed before he ever gets a chance..........because THEY have guns..........think about that.....

they chose these places because there is no resistance.......thats why its done that way......

and just think.......if he didnt have a gun.......he might have used a bomb...........

I hope ive answered some of your inquiries

It's impossible bud...Because if you took the guns away....You got about 75 million people just like him that will die for that right...

that question is really irrelevant... I know it seems to make sense to you. I understand your angle... But your not understanding his... You dig?

Yeah totally 100%, I am Scottish, not from the Pegasus Galaxy, lol
I understand my thinking on guns will clash heavily with those who "Demand this right to bear arms"
All the talking in the world will not change my views.
All the talking in the world won;t change theirs.
But debate is healthy, and better when it is from people all over the world with differing lives and values and morals etc.

I CAN NOT WAIT for an Independent Scotland, so we can get our lads out of all these wars.
Scottish people are similar to the Irish, warm, loving, helpful, tight with money, and like a drink. lol

Guns have never been an issue, so I guess when I watch the American news, it just is Alien to me.
But I am grown up enough to know everyone is allowed an opinion, if I don't agree, I still respect that view

That is what debate is, and why forums like this work.

I understand that, but keep in mind the difference in culture and population. I would say most of our gun crime comes from a few places. Lots of ghettos. We need guns as long as we have criminals with guns, and even though I hate to say it, cops with low iqs outfitted with swat gear. We have always had guns, and so we don't know what we get without them, could be utopia or it could be that the weapons are a dormant safeguard that could even have a positive effect on other western countries.

And I don't claim anything, honest. Just the truth from my mindset.
Death is bad, in any context in any and all walks of life.

I did not start this blog to argue or upset anyone, really for me it is as simple as "Guns are bad"

No offense here.. I love a good debate... I learned from this experience as much as you prolly did.

I hear stories off kids finding their fathers gun and by accident shooting themselves.
For me, no guns = less death.

In my mind, I would say, the bulk of children that die by accidental gunshots are kids who are uneducated to what guns really do, because their parents don't teach them, because they're "taboo". Even though their glorified all over TV. You don't find a lot of accidental deaths in the country where guns are the norm for everyone.

But America, the government part is a war machine, so I guess it goes down the chain of command to the people?

I am guessing here.
It must just be in your nature, a natural "This is my right and I demand it, no matter what"

I think... You couldn't have said it better... Right or wrong... That's what it IS.

Thank you for being so open minded. it's rare that I trade good positive information back and forth with somebody here.. These kinda convo's are what I look for at ATS... So thank you for that...

To be fair, I did say 'his own people.' Yes, what he did was profiling, but it was not for all Jews:

Contrary to conventional views, Rigg reveals that a startlingly large number of German military men were classified by the Nazis as Jews or "partial-Jews" (Mischlinge), in the wake of racial laws first enacted in the mid-1930s. Rigg demonstrates that the actual number was much higher than previously thought--perhaps as many as 150,000 men, including decorated veterans and high-ranking officers, even generals and admirals.

There were plenty of different races in that military mind you, and being military, they had access to military-grade weapons and vehicles, not simply pistols.

There is a big difference between disarming Americans and disarming minorities that are viewed as possible threats though. It's a shame and can be considered paranoia, but it's looking out for your people's safety at the same time. American government disarming Americans is an inversion of that though: the people's safety take the backseat while the minority (in this case, politicians and other "movers and shakers") have the guns, the control, and the safety.

Disarming the Jewish people in Germany that weren't part of the military was more or less a precaution to protect the everyday citizen. They wouldn't have stood even the slightest chance against the Wehrmacht even if they were armed though. But, Americans willingly disarming themselves and imploring their government to go with it, while the power hungry psychopaths get to keep theirs? Recipe for disaster for the American people.

Yeah you answered perfectly and thank a lot for educating me on why you and your fellow country men and woman demand your right to a gun. I do understand and know your Government is almost a police state, or trying to be. I am on ATS for gods sake, lol

You answered and some. Thanks a lot.
See, we do learn every day. I may be in my mid 30s, but I am still willing to learn and accept.

Thanks again, really..

Listen I have just been educated very well on why Americans demand the right to bear arms, I get it now.
I am glad I started this blog, as now I get it.

Thanks to everyone in this thread for taking a bit of time to tell me their feelings and teach me a bit more than I already knew

I don't know why the video is dubbed, but the idea behind it is good. If only we can get all governments to surrender their weapons. Unfortunately, this will never happen.

Very well written..And I'd have to agree, but If we are still refering to the poster in question... Then I would say, when you put Hitler on a poster with a slogan about strict gun control.... Everyone is going to know what you mean... Dig it? Cause he is a prime example of taking the power from "a" people in order to destroy them..Arguing weither or not he took them from "the" people or "a" people is irrelevant when it concerns the poster in question. The poster is accurate and effective in it's statement as far as the average American is concerned. Or did we go beyond that?

It's hard to keep track of multiple posts at once. Forgive me if I missed something..

Below my posts is my own blog, I am a writer ( I also do one on Soccer) So I am open minded and always eager to learn off others ways and thinking. Without this mindset we become sterile and silly.

Only the unloved hate in my mind, and I don't hate. Thank you, your words mean a lot to me.

We never stop learning.
Only fools believe they know it all and think they have nothing to learn in life.
My father is 67 and even he will say he learns something new every day.

Part of the life process I guess, lol

What is this you speak of? How is this Independance initiative working out?

And don't you need guns for that when it comes to leaving the Queen?

Part of the deal (Sadly) is Scotland is still attached to the Monarchy, a monarchy getting less loves with each passing year. For "Queen and Country" is an old fashioned thing. Many in the UK HATE the Monarchy.
I do.

ps:
I been here 10 years or so.
How do I subscribe to a thread so I get email notification? lol
