What I am hoping for, is that some of us, will be affected by the higher vibrational energy emanating from the super-massive black hole in the center of our galaxy, and this energetic "Light Belt" our Solar System is entering, by the recombination and reactivation of the 19 pairs of chromosomes and the millions (billions) of genes those chromosomes contain, that have been inactive and inert for perhaps hundreds of millenia. Fully functional brains utilizing 90% or more of our brain cells instead of 10% or less. To reclaim lost mental abilities mental capacity and even long lost knowledge, (some scientists say that DNA stores information as light and DNA stores an incredible amount of information), would be positively amazing beyond description.

I like that idea for a possible future, looking ahead towards 12-21-12, of an opportunity for some or all of humanity, for an ascension of some sort, to a higher level physically, intellectually, spiritually, vibrationally, or whatever!

The way I understand it, that is essentially what The Mayans believe is going to happen. If that is what happens in a few days, whether or not we all feel it experience it or even know it happened at all, everything will be altered, somehow different. We should ascend or evolve energetically, because we will be shifting to a plane that vibrates at a higher frequency than this one we are and have been on since the last alignment of the Earth Sun and center of the Milky Way galaxy.

if this 2012 stuff passes and nothing happens there will be less interesting movies and threads and we will only be left with stuff related here on the soil of planet earth to worry about. in our minds we allways want to reach out to the stars trying to ponder the bigger equation. So if this passes and nothing happens; our interest in the galaxy and the universe will lessen and focus on things like gun control and politics.

I hope we as a young growing race continue to focus outward instead of inward after 12-21-12.
it would be a shame not to venture outside our solar system before it is consumed; due to the beauty and magnificance of the universe.

I'm alright about the whole shebang, which is odd since I seemed to spend my whole childhood worrying about every damn apocalyptic scenario. Even lulled myself to a peaceful sleep last night in bed reading a book called DOOMSDAY. It's got the lot in it.

Anyway, I can do without anything going wrong, I've only just had a brand new electric cooker installed. I'd like to get my moneys worth before the world goes tits up. Plus Friday nights the only time I get to go the pub this side of Christmas.

Well i dont feel excited about christmas at all, but i certainly feel very very excited about the 21st. I'm not scared of death in the slightest so im just very curious to see what happens. Nothing really exciting ever happens EVER, its just wake up,consume,work,consume,tv,consume,consume,bed on repeat, so even if it is the most unimaginitive one, which is meteor crashing into earth, i still wont mind, it'll just be cool to see something exciting happen and i will see all my family on the other side XD

No I don't believe the world will end as I don't believe we would be told if it were. What does bother me, is why are we being bombarded with the fear of this happening? who is responsible for it and to what end? The Mayan glif thing has been debunked as far as I am concerned but is this a distraction so we are unaware of something else happening? It seems to me that a lot of work has gone into instilling this random belief in peoples minds. Who could gain from this mass paranoia?

I would LOVE to make a thread about a guy who talked on the biggest radio channel we have in Norway yesterday. He's from my town, and the things he said about 21.12.12 was scary! He was a gangster in the early twenties, until he found Jesus in the mailbox one night while drinking. On the radio he was talking about a reptilian of some kind that would rise up and take control of earth. Lot's of crazy stuff. Maybe you guys are used to it, but in Norway no one is hysterical when it comes to this date. But when this guy pops up on the radio and tells stuff like that, i felt it in my whole body. Would love to translate that interview with you guys. Maybe i'll reach 20 posts before friday

I'll be a bit miffed if the apocalypse interrupts my Christmas....

Personally, I'm as prepared as I can be for any disaster, so if something happens, I know all of my next moves...but I rather enjoy our modern lifestyle and conveniences, so unlike many, I'm in no rush to actually see such a disaster occur.

Luckily, I feel 99.9% sure nothing is going to happen.

well after reading all this since I last posted, I think I will be under the bed with my two chiihuahuas . Oh and my lap top because if anything does happen I will read about it first on ATS. I will also drag my husband under the bed, I will need a baseball bat because he will come screaming and kicking....he does not like to miss Judge Judy, Judge Joe Brown, Judge Mathis, Divorce court ect...

The Mayan calendar did not 'run out', it is cyclical, it just starts over again from the beginning, and starts the cycles great and small all over again. The Mayans calendar could and can predict astral events such as lunar eclipses and Venus' transits across the face of the Sun, and both events took place this year as predicted by the Mayans and their calendar, to within 30 seconds, 4000 years in advance! They knew their stuff, really really well.

The thing about 12-21-2012 at 11:11 AM is, that moment is the end of a few different cycles. One cycle is 25,980 years long, it's called The Procession of the Equinoxes, google it if you want info. The Mayans had a cycle called a K'atun, equal to 20 turns of a smaller cycle, or 7,200 days, 19.713 years. 20 K'atun cycles make a B'ak'tun, or Long Count, 144,000 days equal to 394.26 tropical years. 13 complete B'ak'tun's comprise a World. We are in, the 5th World, which is just about to end, and then the 6th World will begin, so, according to the Maya, the World is not destroyed, nor is humanity anihilated, but things change, drastically.

The Mayan Calendar ends at that point, because the Maya as they say/said, they could not "see" anything past that point.

I like to think that is because the Earth and all on it will exist and operate at a higher vibrational frequency, and in doing so, we will not be visible to those still vibrating on a lower frequency...

yeah I feel the same way. It will be a non event and even if something does happen, I will send my head to the cryogenics place and they can freeze it and keep me in a state of dreaming and I will have my christmas that way... hopefully it won't turn outt like vanilla sky!

or get airlifted to the military base and be kept alive via a machine like the movie source code and when i find a nice new reality I will manifest there and still get a christmas.

or maybe I will be a ghost, go back in time, find the problem and fix it in a flash and then come back and have a minor time loss of a couple of minutes and it will be like nothing happened at all.
