Americans, Isn't It Time You Relinquished Your Weapons.

Nice thread OP, but sadly, trying to argue with Americans about taking away their guns is like trying to argue with the fat kid to take away his lollipop.

You wont win.

They are too in love with some archaic rules written by a bunch of treasonous rebels written in 1791.

I just wonder how many more innocent people will die before they start to join the civilised world.

The core of the problem is that US got guns lying around everywhere, and its easy to come by
So if a mentally ill person wants to do a school shooting or a mall shooting its a job easy done
And yes guns are the most effective way to kill allot of people quick

There are mentally ill persons in every country.. but in US the chance of getting a gun is much higher
its harder to do a mass killing with a knife..

Sure you can get a gun in other countries if you want, but its HARDER and more risky.. and that alone prevent allot of the things we see happening in US

What civilized world is this you live in? You are faced with an American government that not only tramples upon the rights of its own citizens, but goes around the globe murdering innocent men, women and children and doing everything in its power to extract as much wealth from the rest of the world for an elite few.

You can't really equate a small Island country like GB with a vast and enormous country like the USA.

That said, evil has always exsisted, and the real problem of mental illness and society's lack of moral contempt is more to blame than guns.

In GB, you have a very sheepish society who are happy and content as wards to the state, and although America is travelling that same road, we aren't there yet, and guns in the hands of the citizenry is the only reason why.

The people in power have the perfect opportunity to inflict draconian laws that will castrate law-abiding gun owners, and frankly...that scares the living hell out of me.

God help the entire world if America becomes like GB or the like. The armed citizenry of the USA is the only thing standing in the way of a complete NWO.

Just wondering if maybe a part of the problem is how owning a gun makes you feel. Bigger, more powerful, in control, safer. Many people with addictions try and rationalise them. For substance users it's " yeah well i'll die anyway" " i need something to make my life bearable" " everyone else is doing it".

I see many of the pro-gun advocates offering opinions that sound very similar. Admittedly i don't live in the US but i have owned a gun. I can relate to the desire to have one, but i don't or ever did really need one.

I think would be much more affective to ban gun free zones like schools. It seems these "wackos" gravitate to areas where the population are not allowed by law to posses a weapon. Seems like pretty well thought out for a wacko.

It may seem a small point to you, but guns were not made simply as a tool to kill other humans. It is also used for hunting. While that may not seem necessary to you, for many people it is a matter of survival.

Your point is well taken and if this country had the same protection as your country has then I would agree. By same protection what I reference is that your country has better controlled immigration which is a main thing to consider. This country lets all of the trash of the world in its front and back doors with little thought of anything other than another vote for their political party.

Another fact to consider is the morality of the nation. This holly wood cesspool of garbage and filth is allowed to market their abomination into the minds of all America. The language is absolute filth and the people have become slobs who dress and act like savages. The schools are riddled with drugs and hate and the teachers are as dumb as rocks. The unions and politicians are corrupt to the core and control almost all aspects of this country. This republic is in a death throw and gun control will not fix morality.

Education is the answer if we had true education but even our colleges are riddled with teachers and professors who teach division and hate. We cannot educate what we have without first limiting more of the same in immigration. Our boarders are wide open to drug infested savages who to this day chop heads off their enemies. We are so busy nation building that we can't figure a way to help our own people.

All of this is not to simply take guns out of the hands of the citizens. It goes much deeper than that alone. We must fix our morality first and then the people will not want the guns and guns will not be needed but if you disarm the honest citizen then you strengthen the filth that we allow into this nation. The first step is to fix the morality of our citizens and if I had the power to do that it would be to start with the politicians as well as schools and the holly wood gang who has poisoned the nation with their filth. Those three elements would save the republic. Not gun control.

If you take one example of a young man who did this school shooting and apply that one act to over three hundred and eleven million citizens then you are not fair minded at all. I believe you will eventually find that this young mind has been influenced by the very things that I have cited here. I believe you will find that this young man should have had professional help a long time ago and the blame for all of this is probably located with the entire structure of this culture. Everything from mom and pop to holly wood. Not just one thing but many.
