We have it backwards, all this time we were thinking we were the evolved species....when is the last time you saw an animal pick up a gun and kill?
Ha! Did you ever watch a cat 'play' with something that is alive? The 'play' involves killing it!

Did you know that lion and gorilla males often kill young of their species that they didn't father? Isn't that sweet?

Are you asking me to follow the lead of these creatures?

SMH.

Far too many people are willing to outsource their personal security to the people they scream about the most-- the government and the police.

Arms that are only in the hands of the government and police is the epitome of a police state.

Promote the right to the second amendment which is a personal choice you can either

Carry or wait til government comes to save you.

That is if someone gives you enough time to dial 9-11 hell you could use some really harsh words.

Can't argue the only way to control things is to control people the anti thesis of liberalism.

I can't believe someone had to say false flag over this.

Is this what it means to carry in the US, was this man in despair or was he a shallow dick? what's the difference, he has a gun in his hand and is using it,

America needs to take a serious look at what is happening, it needs gun control and state borders, and a 'live and let live' philosophy just does not work with extremists amid society.

Should we follow your lead and have a potato famine also? You guys have blown up school children because of their religious beliefs.

Maybe the Irish should worry about Ireland, until after they decide to move to the US.

Of course we all really know what gun restrictions are all about. It has abolutly nothing to do with "protecting" us, and EVERYTHING to do with disarming the populace to make way for tyranny.

Get ready. The next four years are going to be hell for the US.

I've blown up nobody, and neither have 99% of Irish people have blown up anybody, and many were just victims,
Terrorists did that. I'm not Irish, apart from that response, most of your post is asinine #e...that's an Irish expression BTW. Now get this, there is a lot of bad events that ALL of us don't understand, that's why I put in the video in another post. One thing I do understand, is for instance, borders. Every state in the US should have a border, especially if the laws are so dramatically different, in reality it makes each state a different country.
The pseudo intellectual philosophy of one state doing things better than another only decays without a border, because it simply cannot uphold any principle that it may have...end of fecking story.

These tragedies will always bring direct attacks on the guns and the second amendment. The best defense is a counter-offense and those who cherish gun rights need to argue that a) little or nothing could be done to deter the shooter(s) from accessing a firearm (presence of gun) but b) the absence of other guns is how the situation was able to go from bad to worse. Not that every teacher or administrator needs to be toting in the classroom but that there could be an armed security person (former or off duty police) stationed at the school. Perhaps two in certain areas (one outside the main office and one in a vehicle in the parking lot). The shooter today would have had to go thru one outside the main office who would be able to see everyone who entered the building. Banks have armed security for obvious reasons but arent our children more precious than money?

You make a good point. Maybe people should start suing those who mandate these "gun free zones" when something like this happens for depriving them of their right to self defense. The should especially go after private property owners such as that mall whose owners declared it a "gun free zone". Only the ones who play by the rules paid attention to those signs and that's what made them such tempting targets.

If only there was the possibility of meeting armed resistance, I'll bet a lot of these shootings wouldn't happen. The shooters are, for the most part, a bunch of cowards who take the easy way out after completing their deeds rather than have to face up to the consequences of their actions. That's why nearly all of them end up killing themselves once the police show up.

People really need to start suing places with "gun free zones" for depriving them of the ability to protect themselves and not providing adequate, armed security for their protection.

Banning guns will only mean that law abiding citizens won't have them. Last I checked, the ones that commit crimes are not law abiding citizens. So how is banning guns gonna do anything?

And the problem isn't how many people have guns. The problem is that not enough people have guns. If those teachers had guns, then maybe they would have been able to prevent this. Prevention is being in the right place at the right time, not stripping innocent people of their rights because of the actions of a few.

If you want peace, prepare for war.

Times change, plus there wasn't 300 million people living in America when Second Amendment was written.

There is no denying that Americas gun policy is a huge mess.

Ignorance alert.

The only thing wrong with America's gun policy is that there are laws infringing the second amendment. Arizona finally got it right.

The problem with America is the slow creep of socialism into our schools and culture. This notion that "diversity" and "tolerance" is good for society. Allowing millions of people from another country and culture to illegally invade our way of life, then tell us that we must be "tolerant" of them because they don't want to learn the language. This is the mess, and guns have nothing to do with it.

Also, good policy works no matter how many people there are. Population has nothing to do with this.

Renewing NRA membership tonight, they need our support now more than ever. You anti-gunners need to realize one thing- even if you could magically remove all guns from America, they would flood in through our borders!
The criminals would be well armed, always. Don't be so quick to hasten your own end.

I'm not even an ATS Star and Flag guy.
I post when I want, on a topic I want, and normally just ignore that whole ranking system.

This is different.

I just channel surfed all the MSM's coverage and then some.

The right.. left... is/are already pushing their own adgenda's.

This ain't no false flag.

This is a real divide and conquer on so many pathethic levels, I'm disgusted.

It's NOT about gun's. It's about control.

What a terrible horrific game changer for all of us.

May the victims and their families have our prayers before they're politicized.

When I lived in the UK I felt no need to carry or own a gun to defend myself. I wonder why that is?

Answer: incredibly strict gun control means no-one owns or carries guns.
