I didn't say everyone should carry a gun like the wild west, I said trained; law abiding... btw, how to suppose you stop a criminal from getting a gun when all they have to do is steal it.

As for as being plain ignorant, everyone has an opinion, so to each their own; as the saying goes... you sound like a person who would hide in a closet while innocent children are being killed.

None of it is officially confirmed yet. I would imagine that the next presser will have more information on the victims and the apparent focus.

I don't think the poster was trying to make a joke. I think he was comparing the devastating effect of both on the country. IMHO.

Its likley the 20 year old was a worker/ex worker-as the door had a buzz in system-he must have been recognised,and allowed inside.

I too am angry and sad at the same time! You don't do this to kids...let alone do it at all. Our kids should be safe, no matter what.

While I realize now that the talk will be about guns, guns, guns..the problem here is not guns. Its the fact that our schools are wide open, unlocked most of the time. What did you expect?

We need to have put in place metal detectors at school -- and paid for by the Feds, since the Feds have no problem spending money on everything else.

This incident will open up so many cans of worms it is just unthinkable.
