A few points from a mother of 5 kids, and a mother in law who is a bus monitor: bus monitors/drivers, at least where I'm from, and currently live now, leave the school after kids are dropped off in the mornings. Busses are garaged at a central garage, not on school property. Bus monitors work in the mornings, and afternoons. Between those two times, their day is theirs. Is it the same for drivers? If so, why is a bus driver there at 930-ish? What time does their school day begin? If the children escaped after seeing their teacher shot, how is the bus driver entwined? Drivers never go into classrooms. Field trip?

I saw this guy earlier today. He did not seem credible as a retired psycologist.
He never explained where the bus driver went. He just said the kids came inside with him after finding them in his driveway. Why would they? Where did the bus driver even come from. Most go home or somewhere else after the last bus runs before 8am.

He also mentions another man who was with them shouting something about "It'll be OK!"

I didn't believe a word of it. He kept claiming his grandchildren taught him how to be with kids.
Which is odd for a trained psychologist.

And it is odd for someone with grandchildren ... i guess he wasnt around when his kids were younger to know how to be around kids?

Nothing happened today & I just got another automated call from the school saying that they are actively working with the local county sheriff dept. to provide a safe school environment. Daughter said that none of the kids at the school seem worried about it & everyone is just going about their normal routines.

I'm glad to hear that nothing happened Rick. You must be going out of your mind! My prayers will continue to be with her until your town is relatively safe again and not such a high stress/alert status.

Well, the last one that did that was smoking....literally! Of course, I don't toss them out all together, anyway. Tend to sit on the drives, and toss the other parts.

I find it interesting that Dick's Sporting Goods is removing all the guns from the store in Danbury where Adam Lanza tried to buy one before the killings.

The display seems huge.


But I find the flier they had really screwed up after knowing Adam broke his way through the door at the school.

Just wanted to comment about the bus driver being there.

Could there have actually been a field trip planned or something? I recall some earlier posts that mentioned some kids were unaccounted for. I don't know if it was true or just media hype, but maybe it could be related in some way.

I was questioning his story. He claims there are kids at the end of his driveway along with a bus driver.
The story says the bus driver must have picked them up.

And?

So why would he stop at this guys house and have them huddled at the end of his driveway?
Why wouldn't they just wait on the bus. Plus they had an automated call I am sure said bus driver would have received telling them to go to the Fire Dept. That is what has been reported.

What's missing from his tale? Where did the busdriver go? Did he come inside, too and if so why?
Why would he allow these kids to go to a stranger's house?
Why no mention of where the bus was parked?

His story IS lame and not believable.

I would have to guess first they can be identified online---- or by the large number of 'stasi' employed to watch for such opportunities. Secondly a 'coach' ( or 2 or 3 or 10) will make contact with the target and work in various ways to mold/surveil them. Third, they will usually be medicated initially and their medication will be switched before the desired efffect.Fourth accomplices will aid and make sure the mission is completed satisfactorily. Fifth the patsy will be sacrificed one way or another) and the agenda will be carried forward.

Well, I guess I know where I won't be doing any shopping! So, he tried (and I guess failed?) to purchase a gun there, and they decide to not sell guns anymore? Beyond ridiculous.

The pictures that I've seen on google earth of the school seem to show a snipers paradise, wooded outside and the school with very low windows, shrubs outside the windows, also looks to be near a major roadway. One (or two allegedly) classrooms targeted perhaps within a possible trajectory of line of fire.

this sounds like neighborhoods around here ... one cannot even cross the bridge at the entry of Bird Key without a personal invitation.

Most of the super rich people I worked for, every member of the family had a personal "chaffeur"(I probably butchered the spelling), who was also and armed bodyguard, to drive them around. That was on top of having a gated community, with armed guards manning the gate in and out.

i will admit that the ever changing point of entry is a bit disturbing.
windows, doors, buzzed, blasted ... it really does make a difference.

the direction of the glass concentration would lend credence to the shots being fired from inside or out but it doesn't really indicate if there was more than one shooter.

now this 'theory' isn't one i've pondered at great lengths, but it has crossed my mind more than once --> what if ... given what we've discovered thus far ...

What's up with the killer without a motive theory?

Originally, the police found "substantial evidence" on the killer's person (Lanza). Then, the latest is that the HD of his PC was destroyed with a hammer/screwdriver.

There's been no manifesto released, right? Every killer has a motive. They WANT their death to be an explanation, from Columbine, to Virginia Tech.

This 20 year old kid, what was the motive? Where's his beliefs? Why did he want to do this?

Why would he destroy his own computer, and hard drives?

Why haven't we gotten that side of the story?

The media has grabbed every aspect of the mourning. Where is the documentary on how he accomplished this?

The perp from Virginia Tech was profiled within hours, the story complete within 24. Why the time delay in this scenario?

Questions.

in my day, we'd get in all kinds of trouble for giving such info to a 'stranger' or their company.

and by then, surely there were officers milling about ... why didn't he notify one of them or surrender the children to them or sit with them outside ??

(don't know about you guys, but my kids or grands wouldn't dare voluntarily enter a stranger's house after a shooting, unless i was present.)

questions arising as i read it ...
1. has anyone located this property and its proximity to the school or exit these children could have used ?

2. if the principle had time to call anyone, why the newspaper rather police ?

3. why would the shooter kill a teacher then come back to the office personnel ?
does this tie-in with the point of entry confusion ?

4. why would any bus driver be on property around 9:30 ?

5. where was his bus ? no mention of it being in/near the driveway.

6. six (6) kids ?? how many were in each class ?

7. why would a psychologist, NOT call the police, immediately ?

i'm thinking this story is sketchy enough to dismiss it for the most part.
otherwise, my biggest question is ... why didn't Rosen mention contacting the police at all ??

that would be a good guess for this generation but i assure you, they have and use much more antiquated techniques that begin long before 2nd grade.
sad but true.

i would be curious if Adam was ever enrolled/participated in 'advanced' studies of any kind, skipped a grade, was offered college courses prematurely, was volunteered as a test subject for any pharm program ... stuff like that.

1)He didn't want the details of his porn surfing or some other computer-based activity being broadcast to the public, but this would indicate he was worried about what other people thought of him----which makes the lack of any sort of suicide note or manifesto much more suspect. This way, any computer-based communications he had with his "handlers" or subliminal programming he might have gotten via the computer would never be discovered by anyone, ever. I'll bet they try to piece it back together, but when they try reading the contents they'll discover they were wiped with high-technology wiping methods or even a strong electromagnet or something. Double-covered. By that time, no one except ATS will be fretting over the details of this case.

Suddenly, the media is NOT producing information.

Covering what pulls on the heart strings, the funerals, but no factual information on the breakdown of events.
