After Earth & Oblivion - Is Hollywood trying to say something ?

I don't think Hollywood is saying anything to us other than "Hey were running out of ideas, but we still need money; here's some generic crap we pulled out of butts 30 minutes ago. Look it has transforming robots, a celebrity you know, and that cool car you can't afford. Also, by this product we subliminally sneak into every other frame of this movie."

These movies involve acts of terrorism and the US military.

This is all propaganda to show how important US troops are to fight terrorist activities.

You may even think of Osama Bin Laden as being the Godzilla in Godzilla 1998 movie. He brought down a couple of big buildings and even this Godzilla hid inside a cave/drain pipe/cave where the US submarines fired rockets into.

Well OP, now that most have eluded to your delusional state for thinking Hollywood would have any ulterior motive behind what they do other than the almighty dollar, I have a different take on it.

Yes, as some have stated, Hollywood is good at playing on the fears and hopes of people, tugging at your heartstrings, and giving you eye candy to satiate the most "discerning" of movie goers. They are also masters of predictive programming(Acclamation), building on old fears, the creation of new fears, and molding the perceptions and paradigms of generations of people the world over.

Hollywood is, and has always been, a psyop. Along with their aforementioned predictive programming, They are masters of NLP, hypnosis, and subliminal manipulation, programming the mindset of the masses.

Yes, they are trying to tell you something. And they want you to pay for hearing and seeing it too. It always amazes me how easily Hollywood gets a pass from everyone. They are as guilty and treasonous as any politician or elitist you want to point a finger at.

To ignore the underlying message and manipulation in movies and television, is exactly what they want. IMHO.

Note both these movies are out in 2013, because 2013 is coming, our way, because the old earth wasn't destroyed, now was it.

I will admit that some of these Hollywood movies seem like straight-up propaganda, perfectly placed at the right time---Red Dawn immediately comes to mind. I mean come on--when you have one the main characters in the movie--an American pointing at a North Korean (see Chinese) soldier and defiantly yelling to his kids: ( and the audience) "Do what I would do...Kill this piece of Sh*t*!!!" A movie that comes out right when China is in an increasingly more advantageous economic and military position it makes me scratch my head. Than again, why make the propaganda that blatant?

No problem my friend, thats why we are here! To help eachother find bits of the truth.. I dont even like the term 'conspiracy therist' because:
A) a theory has no factual evidence yet... there is tons of facts that prove governments are cheating the people
B) people look at conpiracy theorists as whackos thanks to Mr. Bushwhick...



.. its douchbags like this that make me and many others here want dig and find more truth to why we are being lied too.. and whos pulling the strings.

If these stupid people are putting subliminal messages within their multi-bilion dollar industry (Hollywood entertainment) ... we should take a closer look instead of knock everything off because we think we already have the answers.

The reason why we have so many films similar to one another is probably related to one of the following ways:

a) The end of the world is the main theme, started with 2012 Movie, but each movie has it's own twist on the story
b) The end of the world theme stirs a lot of drama and emotional thinking in the audience
c) The writers of the scripts of these movies can't think of anything else better than the destruction of earth

d) And finally.....these movies are using more CGI effects to bring about the idea of future advances in technology (by either alien or human race) and their cause on the destruction of earth. As humans become more evolved, they use, consume, and destroy natural resources to get to become a Type 1 planet

Speaking of Type 1 planet, it reminds me of this video by Michio Kaku that describes transitional changes between a Type 0 planet (ie. Earth at the present) and a Type 1 planet (ie. where Earth is going into).

I believe these many listed movies are trying to show us what a Type 1 planet is like and are trying to prepare us for this change (with the exception of John Carter, that's just pure fiction and fantasy...for now

)

The movie which deal with aliens are either whacked out of concept (like Cloverfield...good movie btw), or very unrealistic (Avengers....but Stark Technologies a true possibility)

Battleship may represent a true alien race for a Type 3 civilization as well as Battle LA.

Most of your post is assumption based on your beleif of what you have read and learned in the world of conspiracy..who do you think is pushing this 2012, alien invasion, earth destruction IDEA into the PUBLIC? Probably the same people tied to politics (liars and cheaters) and the rich who want to control everything...

You'll see it. Start with a movie on DVD; something you've seen a few times before.

I was just being goofy. I understand where people get some of these ideas, I just don't see things the same. I don't think there is any real conspiracy here other than the blatant advertising and manipulation of people.

I think a big part of Hollywood's "job" is to condition people, to get them prepared for things that are coming. The more de-sensitized people become to something, the easier it is to swallow, survive, or think they believe.

Not that I think people who watch Walking Dead or crappy Revolution won't freak out if a zombie wanders by or the electric grid fails, but its got to help TPTB to temper the panic, right?

Think about it. The first time you watch someone blow up in a movie or video game will have a very different reaction after the 298237984 time.

Hollywood running out of movie or tv ideas? Please. They know exactly what they are doing. We're being conditioned.

Panic in the face of disaster (natural, terrorist, war, etc.) makes it SO much harder to herd people along and make them do what you want. That can be getting someone to evacuate for a hurricane, or something more sinister, but it all boils down to conditioning.

Just my 2 cents.

Someone or something is communicating in the clear because it knows we don't understand what we're looking at.

I see them as more of a guide to where they would like to see Humanity after they have systematically implemented all of their procedures.
