Well, I can understand that, not wanting to hurt your source of income, but since I'm not working, living on my VA pension, and already classified as insane in the membranne by most of my friends, it doesnt hurt my reputation TOO MUCH lol

Why do you think I left my laptop open for you to see? Why do you think I tracked you to Lowe's and hood-winked you into doing work for me?

Just Kidding!

I think I would have said something like, "Hey, I recognize that site. Do you like it?" or something like that to see what she would offer up.

"So..
what's your bet.. Is it pole shift or aliens?"

And then if she doesn't say anything, just keep talking hahaha.

That's easy to do, but posting about it on the very forum they go to sounds way riskier to me..

I bet she's cool as hell too. Or I mean as cool as the next ice age?

Probably would have been better just to ask her outright, rather than tell everyone online her business. I know I would be pretty upset if I was paying someone to build me a safety room and they went out and told thousands of people about it. It's not really something you want others to know about. . If she sees this, you may have just lost some business.

So OkieDokie, how is his work?

Got any pictures?

Why are we afraid to say we are on ATS to the general public? I mean I have no problem saying "be right there, I'm finishing up on Facebook." But I don't think I would tell my friends "hold on while I finish my post on Abovetopsecret.com". Why is that?

Because I have done it ,I have mentioned ATS before, and I always get that look, you know what I mean.

Okay guys let's Flag this thread for the OP because he obviously wants to tell her the he's a member of ATS, otherwise he wouldn't have made this thread. Besides, they could really help each other out when SHTF since they live close to each other and who knows. I'm not sure about others on here, but the type of friends I would like to have in my life would be the kind that visits sites like these.

Hopefully she'll come across if we get enough Flags. I'm sure very member checks out the 'Top Topics' section of this website.

A little common sense please. We have no idea who she is, where she lives or anything else about her. Why don't you do some snooping and try to locate her. Check every female for 5 miles around. Around Where? I dunno!

OP, just be professional like it is your everyday job, something like, "Would you like to try and hide the door, flush it in with the wall? I like this type of work."

That should do it!

Ok, this has got me thinking........(not always a good thing).

In fact, when the family is over I never leave ATS just opened on my screen.

(Sorry ATS owners, nothing personal.)

Very true I do the same thing. I'd say most probably do. They all think we're wack jobs probably which in most cases is probably true, lol. But most people on here are also more open to some of the things other people just don't want to believe.

Here's what I would do.

1. Buy an ATS shirt here. www.cafepress.com...

2. Wear it to work the next time.

What you should have done, after you were paid, was give her a scowl and say, "You should keep your mouth shut about what you saw. We are watching you."

Then just wait for her to make a post about her experience.

I see now which way I will go. I have not "outed" anybody. To say I told her business online is a stretch. I told more of my own than hers. I will not come out and ask. I also really don't want to beat around the bush. I'll be back there in the morning. If she is a member and a avid member, she will probally see this thread.

To come right out and tell some one I just meet that I'm a member of this conspiracy theory website isnt me. I have enough flags flying. So this is how I will go about this.

Mame, If you are a member and you read this thread, send me a u2u. I would never reveal anything about you or your business. If you read this and contact me. We will go from there . As far as your project is concerned, I would never tell anyone your location. I prep and have for quite awhile. If you need advice or a strong back let me know. I'll see ya at about 7:45 am.

I'll give a 20% discount to any and all ATS members in and around N.C. I offer pics and references from past projects. Bonded & Insured. 25% to the ones that took the time today and replied to my thread. Hope all has a great night. I will post tomorrow evening and try and let all know the outcome. Thanks, OYM1262

NOOOOO! If you tell her then you'll sweat over everything you write here. My luck I'd meet up with a religious fanatic from here and get myself shot. Those god-loves are DANGEROUS!

OMG, you were in my house!!!

kidding, but seriously.....if she was a member, she knows your screen name now.

And really, if it was on her laptop, why didn't you just ask her about it?
I mean just ask a general question like "I saw you had ATS up, do you go to that site often?" and then let the conversation progress.
You don't have to start with a question like, "Gimme your screenname now."

haha, when I lived with my parents, I would minimize the screen whenever they came in. They probably thought I was looking a porn all the time.
