Do you think, for a moment, that they wouldn't use 'em if they feel they've no choice? If they feel they've no choice, they won't hesitate a heartbeat...and some cities are going to vaporize.

Horrifying, yes. But to them? Taking their enemies down with them into the afterlife? Maybe not so much.

I agree with your view that Israel will not hesitate to use their Nuclear Arsenal if they feel they've no choice . Israel has become one of the greatest threat to the global peace and security . So whats the solution ? The solution to the problem is UN - Israel Deal : UN guarantees Israel with security in exchange for all its Nuclear Bomb .

On the surface? Not a bad idea. But will any nation, not just Israel, give up a portion of their sovereignty for the dubious, at best, assurance of safety from the U.N.?

I certainly wouldn't. Nor, I'm fairly certain, would the Israeli's... The firestorm in the Kenneset would be epic...blood would probably flow, and I'm not sure that would be figuratively...

Call me ignorant but why WOULDNT Israel let the inspectors in? And what difference will it make? Are there International laws that say you cant have nuclear weapons? Too many? I just dont quite follow reasoning here....

Well, that's interesting. So the UN isn't just a body of collective nations to deliberate anymore and treaties aren't optional means of national agreement and common causes? I see...

The UN is becoming a governing body with power, strength and near military force in it's OWN right. Not quite yet....but they can call on whomever they need until they finally cut the grabage and openly ask for troops assigned to UN general command. It'll come...soon I'd bet.

In the mean time... Indeed..So by reading the statements, Israel is all but demanded to join. Wow... Thats cool! So I assume they will now demand Myanmar join too! After all..I have this great picture of a topside nuclear facility building in the middle of their Jungle. You know, that nation Clinton and Obama were just giving big hugs to and acting like they are the best people on Earth? Yeah.....while running an illicit nuke program. U.S. priorities are something else and we're incredible SELECTIVE about who can secretly build and hoard the most horrible weapons ever devised.

Israel can join if Israel WANTS to join, That's to POINT of treaties. If Israel is to now be forced.....I want to see every other nation ..including Islamic nations...FORCED to join the Chem Weapons treaty (Hiya Syria
) as well as human rights treaties, torture treaties, child labor treaties and extradition treaties.

Why ever stop at the NPT? Heck, if we can now dictate terms to nations "Or else" (Buy a Ouija board and ask Saddam and Gadddafi how that Or Else crap works out...it's harsh) why not just force the whole truck load down their throats and forget we ever joked about freedom in this world or freedom between nations? It's a brave new world....we better get our Oaths and Loyalties down straight, huh?

Israel hasn't used Nukes and Syria hasn't used Chem weapons....the DECADES of endless babble that they will or about to is nothing but fodder for the printing presses running pro-war propaganda 24/7 without end.

How would they be forced? It would have to go to the Security Council, where the US would veto it without a second thought. The General Assembly can talk and vote however much it likes.....it won't count for much in the end.

Zionists are most equal than any one.

They don't follow any rule.

Indeed... how was Libya forced to..basically run until caught and executed for it's top leadership? You know he actually did ask for terms at one point toward the end.. Anything to simply not be hunted and murdered like an animal. Too much to ask....

If that direct approach is too much? Well, Israel is a nation the size of New Jersey with almost nothing friendly in any direction on it's borders. If we wanted to look at this....unthinkably...as a straight tactical problem, it's no problem at all. They have 132 miles of shoreline, of which part is Gaza and can be scratched for beach to patrol and keep closed.. Shutting Israel off from world goods and services COLD like flipping a switch, would be a simple matter. Again, thinkable...but simple in any physical sense. They'd be among the easiest in the world, in fact. Their unique position geographically and politically makes them almost isolated by definition to start.

Now, it's all as wrong as it gets..and see my above comment about free worlds and the right of self determination among nations...but you ask how such a thing could be forced? That isn't the hard part. What hasn't happened before is a world consensus that treating Israel like bad child in for a whipping is appropriate. It seems to be turning to the common attitude now. Hmm..

I'm curious, how do you define Zionist? What makes a person a zionist. By most definitions I've read, I'm a zionist. But I feel no compelling need to conquer, or oppress, people.

I'm not even remotely Jewish, just so you know...

I don't feel to put labels by words on other people.

+ Zionists has not a very clear meaning.

The most clear I could get is that they want to take over a land that is called Zion.

Justifying is #1 rule of Zionism.

There are many examples.

Hitler killed Jews in Europe , local people of Palestine are paying.

Some of them decided to leave the country , now they want to get all the land.

They recognize no border. They want the Land from Nile till Euphrate.

They are dividing tribes and groups of people in middle east. (there are other reasons ,too.)

They want nations to be divided so that they can defeat them easily.

just a question....

who is Isi Yanouka

Israeli diplomat Isi Yanouka said his country has continuously pointed to the danger of nuclear proliferation in the Mideast, singling out Iran and Syria by name.

"All these cases challenge Israel's security and cast a dark shadow at the prospect of embarking on a meaningful regional security process," he said.

"The fact that the sponsors include in this anti-Israeli resolution language referring to the 2012 conference proves above all the ill-intent of the Arab states with regard to this conference," Yanouka said.
From OP source.

In 2010, the Angolan government refused to receive openly gay Isi Yanouka as the new ambassador due to his sexuality.
en.wikipedia.org...

This guy has no Wiki page, has no images of himself available, is almost a ghost....

searching for his name leads to allot of questionable (malware infested) sites. This screams high profile to me.

From the site quick view on Google...

What language is that? I see French, have fun with you brother....but it is coded with another language.......

Also what country is he a diplomat to?

EDIT:
Is this coded as well? :

Market Research Report

During 2009.12-2010.12, 1 transactions were related to Yanouka Isi Yitzhak, 0.0 on monthly average. Among them, the most transactions happened in 08, which was 1 times. the fewest transactions happened in 08, which was 1 times.

the export number of the first three supplier countries accounted for 100.00% of the total import number of Yanouka Isi Yitzhak. The top supplier countries are Israel(100.00% )

That site is not infected, clickable.

It is like he doesn't exist. Well under that name at least.... That same quote is used in other articles, and even UN assembly articles. What is the deal?

I am just loving the recent incidences of the rest of the world FINALLY standing up to Israel. I realize the US, UK, Canada, and the other holier-than-thou's are still being jerks about it. But it's a start. I'll take a start.

That's because Iran is the enemy meme du-jour. It's been crammed down peoples's throats for so long in the media that I actually think alot of people believe it. Yes, the leaders of Iran are bad, but they're nowhere near being a threat to us in our home territory, therefore they are not a threat.

My solution to the issue;

- Nuke Israel out of existence
- Nuke Iran out of existence
- 3000 years of turmoil in the Middle East solved in 15 seconds.

Seriously, if an Alien Race suddenly parked a space ship in earths atmosphere the first thing they would say is "stop bickering and killing each other or we will end your existence. You've wasting too many lives and resources on your petty squabbles and you haven't solved them in 3000 years - now we will solve them for you."

I'm all for taking away Israel's nukes...

...IF you take away the rest of the world's nukes as well.

Iran hasn't been so forthcoming with the IAEA either, there are areas they will not allow the IAEA into and they always have them under escorted and armed gaurd at all times.

If Israel wants to stay secretive about it's nuclear arsenal, they are a sovereign nation and it is their right to do so and they have not signed the NPT. So yeah i can play devil's advocate every now and then.

As of right now Israel has a bug up it's ass over Iran's nuclear program, but the fact remains that Iran's regime that is a theocracy mind you, frequently aires rallies of massive numbers of people chanting "al mawt li Israel" which means "death to Israel". Furthermore the current Iranian theocratic regime is all for exterminating jews to bring their Mahdi, and sacrificing millions of their own citizens has no bearing as long as it brings their Mahdi and there are persians who are not muslim who want not a damn thing to do with any of this but their own government is going to force it on them anyways.

So in essence what you have building up here, is another religious war which has currently for the last 60 years remained a proxy war, but that time is about over.

The 'No' votes are not very surprising, but Micronesia? Really?

I was surprised by that too. Seems we have very close ties to Micronesia, you could say we pretty much own them.

WikiNesia

Micronesians volunteer to serve in the U.S. Armed Forces at approximately double the per capita rate as Americans. Americans can live and work freely in the FSM without the need for a visa.

The U.S. will provide about $100 million annually in assistance to the FSM over the next 20 years.

The United States is the FSM's largest trade partner.

And I'll tell you something else, if the UN keeps humiliating Israel like it has done over the past few days, this situation is going to explode. The end result might be the end of Israel (which many will be happy with) but the mess that's left behind will be unimaginable.

I really fail to see how expecting Israel to abide by the same rules expected of everyone else is humiliating them. I fail to see how giving the Palestinians the same right others have is humiliating or challenging Israel, especially when almost everyone agrees that the statehood resolution was symbolic only. "Good news Palestinians - we've agreed that legally you exist!"

@Wrabbit:

Yes, everyone can thank the UN and their allowance of the illegal Libyan debacle for the fact that no other country will EVER give up it's nukes, and I don't blame them, including Israel.

But if Israel wants to pontificate and dictate to Iran and others, then they should have to follow the same policies it expects them to. If it doesn't want transparency to its own program it should STFU about others'.

I say, everyone keep what they have and that the NPT should be about not making more and being transparent about what you have/don't have.

Yes, I'm sure Israel was just thrilled about both of those overwhelmingly one-sided votes at the UN
Neither one carries any real practical punch, but both were an embarrassing (for Israel) example of the UN showing them up on the world stage. It will just reinforce their attitude of "the world is out to get us" and will likely make them even more aggressive in order to make a point.

That's exactly what the NPT is supposed to do. Or are you saying Iran should get a free pass and THEN the NPT starts? Both sides are as bad; Israel for not having anything to do with the NPT, and Iran for signing up for it and then using it as cover to run a secret (and extremely questionable) program on the side.

What a load of ill-informed rubbish !!!. The real threat is Israels neighbours which is why Israel has to be armed to the teeth. So what would the IAEA find if the doors were opened ??...Well they would find nukes of course...so what. I would certainly trust Israel more with them than any of the orther ME countries...wouldnt you ? !!!. The biggest threat to world peace is murderous ideaolgy and guess which countries get the award for that ?. The answer isn't Israel either.

Personally, I'm of the opinion that Iran all ready has nuclear weapons and nobody wants to admit it b/c t would mean they aren't as irrational as everyone claims, since they haven't used them.

If Israel was embarrassed, they should be. If only 6 ppl in your club of abt 200 agree with you, maybe it's time to take a good long look at yourself.

But no, I'm sure it just reinforces their idea that all but 6 are antisemites.
