BTS : Avatar Creations

Hey guys and gals

As you can see I did a horrible job trying to customize my avatar and it looks a bit crappy..

Could someone offer a helping hand if possible

Would love to get this with an ATS logo in their maybe of the same style text.. but I can't get it right without the text looking weird so I cut it out and it looks half done as it is now.....


Or perhaps this Avatar ideas with "Ras al ghul" text same style at the top and I could use the other one as a signature...

Would love some input from you pro's Thanks in advance

The original image was only to the torso, so that is what i extracted If you want a fully body, provide that and I will happily do it up for you.

Here is the other image. Note that putting the wording at the top makes it hard to read. So i put it at the bottom

I missed the ATS logo.

We can pimp this image out quite a bit. I will be under mountains of financial docs until close to 9, but after that i will add in the ATS and try to brighten up the imagery a little.

That's brilliant stuff, if you've got any creative input by all means create away But very impressive work I'd gladly use them as my avatar as is! But you're right lets pimp them a bit more heheh.

Sweeeet that one with the sword is going to be the signature for sure!! Quality stuff whats the best way to size the image and quote?

You know my text with the panic quote, is there anyway I can have the text to resemble the Ras writing in the avatar? Yellow and cartoonish looking. The plain texts are a bit boring!

No doubt about that.

So I have a new challenge for you guys, perhaps a new trend, but something interesting nonetheless.

Before I offer the challenge, let me explain.....

I have three favorite forums, all post restricted, the writing forum, the debate forum, and the research forum. I have 3 pics in my sig line, each which will take you to that forum. (Thanks, Agarta!)

I used to have only two pics/links in my sig line, but since I recently acquired scholar status, I needed three pics.

Here's what I discovered, and the basis of my challenge.

The sig line wants an image that is 600 by 60. I made each image, with links, 200 by 50. With a bit of coding tweaks, you can fit a line of text, and the pics, side by side, and the links to the forums YOU want.

The challenge?

Make images that are 200 by 50, denoting ALL the forums on ATS. Members can link any three forums in their sig space. Sorry, we could probably fit four, but no reason to be greedy. Three separate links in the sig space is ample to direct traffic to your particular favorite forum.

Aliens Forum? Politics Forum? Skunk Works? Chit Chat? All those forums need a 200 by 50 image to denote their preference, if you want to link three forums in your sig and they can be individualized per a members specs.

A trend would be for the creative individuals here to create images that can be linked upon request. Not really avatars, but heck, it would be cool to see the designers here creating sig link images for all the different places on ATS.

Not the same image for everyone, but different images for anyone, yet all linking back to our favorite forums.

Are your creative juices flowing yet? They should be. Think about the possibilities.

Here's the coding:

(Yes, it all fits into the "Your Signature" spot in your profile section!)

You will have to remove the spaces between the "url" and "img" links, and ALSO change the thread numbers, as WELL AS the image names.

Basically, you can now point any of three images in your sig line to any of your three favorite forums.

What we need now is more images that are 200 by 50 for people to pick from.

Tinkering with code....

Hmmm.

I edited the code several times. (More than that!) and couldn't get that transposition to go away. A new post shows everything configured properly, so the code isn't busted.

YMMV.

The sig pics all work now, so there is something, something eerie, in the above post. Spaces removed, it works.

Conclusion? A rendering error. The code works. Live life to it's fullest, and don't worry about the small stuff.

Hey bigfatfurrytexan,

In the spirit of being difficult but by no means ungrateful can you resize this pic for me with just a slick looking ats logo thats blends in well with the colors and style. Perhaps semi transparent to make in blend in a bit easier, not sure.. but no Ra's title


And for the sig can you size the below pic as horizontally as possible without the aspect ratio looking to weird


and is there a way we can size this image of my quote into the other image as part of the whole sig?

a lady i work with and I were doing a creepy image thing together (i was showing her and her hubby some stuff). I came up with this girl. I haven't found the right background to put her in yet....so this will do for now.

this evening I worked on the same effect with a doll:



added some smudgestick to make it look darker and less coherent.
