I enjoyed the Christmas one even tho I'm still learning GIMP....

I drink French Roast Keurig all day, usually. Typically, i will go through about 8 kcups in an average 16 hour workday. I am a coffee fanatic.

Jamaican Blue Mountain or New Orleans French Market coffee, brewed constantly in an old style electric percolator, always going, I can go through at least 3 12 cup brew cycles in a day

When I need a quick cup, it's either Nescafe Nes or Nescafe Bon Jour..

Just thought I'd check in with everyone here to say hello, now that everything here is getting back to normal.
We had a total of 248mm of rain over the long weekend, it finally stopped late Monday. After my last post we lost power for most of the night and the following day shortly after, and spent most of the day in the township closest to us sandbagging houses just in case.

Fortunately it hasn't been anywhere near as bad as previous years, with only localised flooding in a few low lying areas, and a few rivers and creeks spilling over. We had to move some livestock to higher ground, but overall have come through it ok.


The road into town with fallen trees. Winds reached around 130km/h at their peak.

This is a youtube video of Palmwoods to the north of us. It gives you an idea of what the weather was like.

Back on deck now though, looking forward to some more creations with my favourite crew.

I'm glad things are getting back to normal for you it looks like mother nature can be cruel sometimes and there is nothing worse then flooding and power loss been through that myself a few times and thanks for the pictures..peace,sugarcookie1
