Just to alleviate some of the confusion I can confirm the following

But we appear to have a halitosis problem in the cave so I've been out shopping

I start reading to catch up and I see all this. I was laughing by the time I got to your post cody and I have to say, coffee out my nose, definitely your fault.

Anyway, I had a great idea, but I do not think I am good enough with graphics to pull it off, but I realized what WWJFKD's avatar is missing... and I am going to try to get it the way I can see it now... I am just not sure I have the skill for what I can see it as though...

I think it looks pretty damn good. Kinda lost the whole flowers at the bottom thing in practice but that really looks sharp guys.

I like number one because JFK appears ghostly which is quite apropos. only 2 concerns could the blue field of the flag on top be moved slightly left so that ATS text is visible i it. Hope that makes sense. And I'm a little bit at a loss with the black blocks at the bottom - beyond that please dont change a thing - I cant believe you sold me on a whole new look - but I'm sold.

Yeah i guess so - it gets lost under ATS text anyway but when you are this close to perfection it kind of sticks out. Its not really a biggie at all.
