I must point out that your arguments are flawed. In countries such as Vietnam, dogs are eaten as if they are chickens in our country. It's a society issue that chickens are viewed as food and dogs are viewed as pets.

My chicken was pretty smart, she met me at the door when I got up in the mornings and stayed with me until she went to roost at night. Would I say she was as smart as the average dog, yes she was. She nearly froze to death one winter, my Dad brought her in comatose and put her in a box in the den. When she woke up I was petting her, at first she was terrified but after an hour or so we were best friends, when we put her back out with our other chickens I figured she would forget about me but she did not. I understand what you are saying but chickens are treated differently from pets so theyfore they act differently, they are more aloof toward humans.

You are saying that people of other countries that do eat dogs and cats have no common sense.
That surely is insulting a lot of people.

People in other countries have a whole different culture and they grow up eating dogs and cats just like we grow up eating chicken, they see them as a food siurce and think that is ok, you know here is the weird thing I had a pet chicken once but still eat chicken.

How can you say an entire country(ies) is wrong for what THEIR culture does?
That is compared to saying - use of Peyote by modern American culture is wrong, but within the Native Americn society it is ritual and their culture; it is accepted by American standards of the NA culture.
Are they wrong because it does not fit your views of what is right?
ON a side note of complete curiosity - why do you call yourself Samhain?

You are saying it is wrong for Vietnamese to do what they do/have always done.
It is that culture that do what they do, be it right/wrong for us.
It's simply not our call, we are not that culture.
I'm not Misfit due to a band.
I'm Misfit because I am.
