Gravity and magnetism aren't the same. Even if they could change the magnetic poles it wouldn't make you fly off into space. Only animals and tech that use magnetism would be affected.

For them to be able to make you fly off into space they would need to create something with more gravity in space that counteracts the gravity on earth.

ETA: To play along with this concept, as to not be a kill joy:
For anyone truly worried, just ground yourself by holding a piece of metal that runs into the ground. It will remove any static from you and you wont be affected by the magnetic pole shift that is really real and coming our way.

Good point. The pole reversal will not be felt unless you use a built in compass to navigate. whales? bats?
However, wouldn't/couldn't this cripple our world-wide power grid?

If so, we would be plunged into the dark ages again.

People will be breaking into libraries to get actual books so they could read them and try to figure out how to live.

I'm wondering if the "three days of darkness" might somehow be related to all this.

You know I actually saw a you tube video earlier about this and it was a Mayan person talking about it. I was a bit shocked. If your into physics you may find it interesting. According to what was said the government is making holes in the earth with I guess Harrp, and that is what caused the quake in Japan and one in Chile. It was fascinating and its a really long video so I only partially watched it. But the way he was talking about it, it could just be for real.

TPTB see that the world in general is loosing religion.

Let's face it, most religions are old and the miracles that happened are just old stories now.
People need to be wowed and amazed once more.

I can see TPTB sculpting a New World Religion based on celestial movements, etc.

Then, TPTB could pull off all kinds of massive destruction projects.
Not only could this be a "religion" but it could be a "cause".

We will be forced to be vigilant and "fight" the constant climate and geological disasters that rage throughout the world.

What I don't get is that there are so many threads on ATS that speak of Governments trying to create mayhem and wipe out the population etc. If they did do this they would only be shooting themselves in the foot!

Government cannot survive without the population/people. If there was a Physical Pole Shift (which has already been proven to take thousands of years) that happened suddenly, the whole World would be screwed, including all the Government people in their bunkers.

In the OPS defense a few months ago i was Driving on 435 near KCI here in Kansas City , its a 70 MPH busy Highway when i say a Bright Blue Orb appear over KCI . I tried as hard as i could to not wreck and take a picture with my phone but it just didnt come out ..I know i saw that brilliant orb hover above KCI for about 5 minutes but do to my position on the highway i could not capture an image ...So OP i believe you , skeptics seem to think everyone just walks around with high quailty cameras and the circumstances are always perfect ,,HARDLY

We have to deal with so much. Monsanto and GMOs, Oil spills, radiation, dying sealife and bees. There is so much that we have done to screw with nature and the earth. I fully believe we could destroy everything if we don't get some help.

They also detonated atomic bombs in the upper atmosphere without knowing what that might do..yes reckless!

So if polarity shifts, does that mean that the blue end of my compass needle will point south instead of North? Disastrous. Do the poles realize what polarity they have? Does my compass needle know what direction its pointing? I know its the opposite because of the stars overhead. "Polaris" won't change in the sky. I'm not sure there will be any big difference except when new lava squirts out of a caldera and solidifies from now on.

If this woman believes what her brother said is true, but is staying in Kentucky because she is "ready to die", why would she concerned about making her place more energy efficient and signing contracts and dropping $ for something she won't be around to benefit from?
Why not use that money to go visit her brother for the holidays?

imo doesn't have to be TPTB, it could be any nut job or radical group that decides it is "god's will" that 12/21/12 is THE DAY and they do something really dumb like use a nuke on the island just west of africa (forget its name) to cause a huge tidal wave to surge at the east coast of the usa. or maybe try to destabilise one of the world's super volcanoes. You know, just something "slightly" memorable.

When you mention that this will take place in Alaska, it made me feel skeptical about it purely because the theory is that it would take place in Antarctica which is where the Nazi's established a large base. But in a way I am optimistic about this theory as it seems like the type of thing the government would do

No disrespect intended, but your post sounds like a "Pinky and the Brain" episode.

Take a look at the data from the European Space Agencies "GOCE" satellite.

Earth's magnetic field when viewed from their sensors, appears like an odd long potatoe. There are spots on Earth with stronger magnetic fields and other places where it's much weaker.

They may try to play 'God' to 'fix it'......they are already using Ionospheric heaters, satellites beaming Ions into the atmosphere at night to expand it......thinking they are saving themselves. Completely ignoring the fact that the ionized atmosphere they are creating is more conductive and making matters worse.

They'll have nice Power Points justifying what they're doing.....just like they've always done with all their other FAILURES.....

In all reality they need many people killed off who know the truth....that they don't want to ever come out. They've had ALOT of failures....some so dire if they became public would end civilization.
