I would prefer a Spam appreciation thread......but i am prepared to get carried away for bacon still!

I'm odd in that I like canned spam. I have no idea why it gets a bad rap lol. hmmm snouts...

but I like corned beef too, hehe damn now I have a fanging for some.. :/

errrrmmm....i maaaaay have a slight Spam addiction ....I'm not a prepper but if there is ever a crisis I am "good to go" for a while at least just with my Spam reserves alone!

seeing as this is a conspiracy site I'd like to say that bacon is a tool of global depopulation.
It contains nitrites. Known to cause deadly cancers yet still allowed in our food.
Nitrites should be banned. And bacon should be healthy again.

Eeew, bacon bits aren't bacon! Unless you make your own, they're just seasoned GMO soy crumbles.

My favorite new bacon preparation I've come up with (apparently its already a "thing", but I didn't know about it before:

Lay bacon out on a baking sheet, sprinkle with brown sugar. Bake. Don't share, unless you REALlY love the person you're sharing with.

Somewhat in between is how I like mine. Girlfriend likes hers very crispy though. Little trick I learned from my mom...when the bacon starts "frothing" on top, its done...and chewy

Most of the bacon on the market does, but you can still get real bacon. Or, buy the whole pork belly and slice/cure your own! Wahatever you do, NEVER buy that stuff on the dry, unrefrigerated shelf. And to those who microwave bacon: punch yourself.

MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM bacon, truly a wonder food from a wonder animal, I've known veggies crack for bacon sandwich, and when I lived in Israel I heard talk of scientists tryin make bacon flavoured beef. S&F for you, for starting the most worthwhile thread possibly ever.
