Iran to execute woman for adultery
Yes, I do believe it.
Try this.... Google search 'man executed for adultery'. You will get two hits for a story about a man in Saudi Arabia....but he was also charged with 'witchcraft'. They aren't backwards are they?
and Taliban ! they are just some radical terrorists that are oppressing people, that is it !
She was convicted for ‘crimes against chastity’, based on her admission, obtained through torture, that she repeatedly had sex with a 51-year-old ex-revolutionary guard turned taxi-driver Ali Darabi, a married man with children.[1] She kept the relationship,[2] which lasted over three years, a secret from both her family and the authorities. However, while in prison, she finally told her grandmother, saying that afterwards she could only walk on all fours because of the pain.[3] In the court the judge was Haji Rezai. As Atefah realised she was losing her case, she removed her hijab, an act seen as a severe contempt of the court, and argued that Ali Darabi should be punished, not she. She even removed her shoes and hit the judge with them.[4] The judge later sentenced her to death.

you are not reading what i said. I support sharia law. I dont support what happened in iran. It disgusts me.
And you must be open to objectively know whats sharia law before demonising it with examples that are not sharia.
The Guardian Council comprises twelve jurists including six appointed by the Supreme Leader. The others are elected by the Parliament from among the jurists nominated by the Head of the Judiciary.[160][161] The Council interprets the constitution and may veto Parliament. If a law is deemed incompatible with the constitution or Sharia (Islamic law), it is referred back to Parliament for revision.[

stoning for adultery is really rare
I have seen people who say gays are executed in Iran or ..... but as a matter of fact all of the cases are rape.
Human Rights Watch has attacked Iran for punishing gays and lesbians with the death penalty. The New York-based group said it found evidence of homosexuals being tortured and being denied due legal process ...
Under Iranian law, same-sex intercourse between two males is punishable by death. For women, the penalty is 100 lashes for the first three offenses and the death penalty for the fourth. Thousands of homosexuals are believed to have been executed since the Islamic revolution in 1979.
Qur'an (4:11) - (Inheritance) "The male shall have the equal of the portion of two females" (see also verse 4:176).
Qur'an (2:282) - "And call to witness, from among your men, two witnesses. And if two men be not found then a man and two women
Qur'an (24:31) - Women are to lower their gaze around men, so they do not look them in the eye.
Qur'an (2:223) - "Your wives are as a tilth unto you; so approach your tilth when or how ye will..."
Qur'an (4:24) and Qur'an (33:50) - A man is permitted to take women as sex slaves outside of marriage.

If you support Islamic rule of a country then you support all the bigotry and backwards antics that go with it. It's just that simple. 'Sharia law' brings with it unfair laws and unfair actions against women, homosexuals, and non-muslims. So you do indeed support bigotry and mistreatment of non-muslims.

It shouldn't happen EVER. And female rape victims are the ones that get stoned while the male rapists are the ones to go free. That's asinine .. and backwards .. and the ultimate in misogyny.

'all the cases are rape' .... what a load!

8:1but Jesus went unto the mount of Olives. 8:2And early in the morning he came again into the temple, and all the people came unto him; and he sat down, and taught them. 8:3And the scribes and the Pharisees bring a woman taken in adultery; and having set her in the midst, 8:4they say unto him, Teacher, this woman hath been taken in adultery, in the very act. 8:5Now in the law Moses commanded us to stone such: what then sayest thou of her? 8:6And this they said, trying him, that they might have whereof to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground. 8:7But when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. 8:8And again he stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground. 8:9And they, when they heard it, went out one by one, beginning from the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman, where she was, in the midst. 8:10And Jesus lifted up himself, and said unto her, Woman, where are they? did no man condemn thee? 8:11And she said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said, Neither do I condemn thee: go thy way; from henceforth sin no more
In islam women are pearls and we dont throw them to swines!
Women are forbidden to drive in Saudi Arabia per a 1990 fatwa (religious ruling)
The status of women's testimony in Islam is disputed. Some Islamic jurists have held that certain types of testimony by women may not be accepted.

Yes under sharia women have a dress code but so do men.
Add to that no punishment for adultery and soon there would be a mistress or at least a slowly breaking emotional relationship.
You call sharia misogynist,
who is suffering the most under secular law??
