The Pentagon is investigating the top US commander in Afghanistan, Gen John Allen, for sending potentially "inappropriate" emails to a woman linked to ex-CIA director David Petraeus, defence officials say.
Defence Secretary Leon Panetta says the FBI referred the matter to the Pentagon on Sunday.
Gen Allen, who denies any wrongdoing, will remain in his job.
Washington's discovery of the Russian spy ring last summer embarrassed the Kremlin and led to the biggest spy swap since the Cold War with 10 of the Russian agents being swapped for four men Russia had found guilty of spying for the West.

This woman either is a complete stunner or she is a spy imo. Bit weird how a top general is now being linked with her:
A senior Pentagon official said up to 30,000 pages of emails and other documents from Gen Allen's communications with Mrs Kelley between 2010 and 2012 were under review by the Pentagon.

To think...She was being investigated as a spy when they found Petraeus in the first place. Hmm... Sounds like she might have gone to the same school as Anna Chapman. Maybe this one was just far more skilled with a much higher investment.

The first thing to apply here is logic. 30000 pages over two years is an average of 40 pages a day. That is a crap figure. It is sensationalistic for a reason. People are just too dumbed down to think for themselves and know when someone is trying to snow them.
This is not what it seems. The game is called mis-direction.
