RT spreading peace and harmony by digging up the past.
Being aware of the history is key to understanding what is happening right now.
Or do you want people to ignore history and believe Iran is the threat with their WMD plans?
WELL SAID!!
History cannot be ignored... only the ignorant ignore history.

Western media reports "DIRIT" with a spin and RT reports the same dirt with a different spin. The truth lies in the middle somewhere.
and like any other MSM they have an agenda to push but it seems and to be honest they are not as biased
Former Mossad chief and propaganda-meister Efraim Halevy makes the case for the US, as a proxy of Israel, of course, to invade not only Iran, but also Syria and Saudi Arabia, once again under the guise of "bringing democracy" to the Middle East.
The Israeli intelligence agency whose motto is "By way of deception, thou shalt do war," has crafted a superb piece of strategic propaganda aimed at US policymakers.

There is no evidence to support claims of an Iranian nuclear weapons program. Even the CIA
Speaking at a gabfest sponsored by The Atlantic, Mr. Otaiba was asked if he wanted the U.S. to stop the Iranian bomb program by force? He answered: "Absolutely, absolutely. I think we are at risk of an Iranian nuclear program far more than you are at risk. At 7,000 miles away, and with two oceans bordering you, an Iranian nuclear threat does not threaten the continental United States. It may threaten your assets in the region, it will threaten the peace process, it will threaten balance of power, it will threaten everything else, but it will not threaten you."
and Mossad have said Iran likely gave up any nuclear ambition in 2003. 16 other intelligence organizations around the world have also come to the same conclusion.
There is plenty of evidence Mr Otaiba is talking s**t....
It's obvious they are doing this to deter western aggression
When Japan will not do what America want then you know who is wrong between the US and Iran.

Iran hasn't actually done anything then has it?
It has broken the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty that it signed in order to be able to purchase Nuclear Tech and Nuclear Reactors. It has also kicked out of the country the Nuclear Inspectors which allows enforcement of the treaty by sanctions and possible military action.
Iran is also a benefactor to many Terrorist Groups as well as supplying Weapons and IUD's to Iraqi Shiite Religious Groups in Iran and Afghanistan.
Iran has also threatened Nuclear Blackmail and threatened to Close the Strait of Hormuz. 94% of all Iranians wish for Good Relations with the U.S. 96% desire a free Democratic Iran and Iran has a population that is 70% UNDER THE AGE OF 30 YEARS OLD! They are Hostages in their own Country. Split Infinity

Your logic doesn't work for many reasons. But the most glaring is the fact that if Iran were seeking WMD's for 'defensive' purposes, they wouldn't be provoking opposition by threatening Israel every single week!
Your idiotic logic also ignores the sequence of events: Iran could in fact end-it-all by ending their program; thus, no worry about being 'invaded'. Thus, it is their nuclear program which elicits the threat of a military invasion, not the possibility of a military invasion that creates the Iranian need to develop a bomb.
Most of all, but sadly, inveterately ignored by most, Iran's regime is ideologically fanatical. They would not simply keep a bomb to bully the US or other major superpowers; they could be the first to actually launch a nuke against another country in a time of peace. And that country - Israel - is being repeatedly threatened with destruction by Iranian politicians.edit on 12-11-2012 by dontreally because: (no reason given)

Iran threatens Israel with existential destruction.
Israel threatens to attack Irans nuclear facilities.
These are two very different types of threat. The first is completely immoral, while the latter is moral, because it is made necessary.
