How many people in a typical neighborhood have actually been near a large explosion. People seem to always say 'never' before. True they haven't at all.

Are you suggesting that they fake the gas explosion to make sure people believe it?

The problem I have with this incident is the media blackout. Normally the media would be reporting about this instantly but there was a long delay.

Sure, accidents happen but this one is obviously faked and they need to come up with a better explanation than gas explosion because people are getting smarter and you can't fool them like you could back in 1947. Questions is what are they hiding?

I didn't mean to suggest this incident was faked. My experience comes from growing up close to the movie-making industry. I would assume this thread was dealing with an unfortunate incident. However, since the thread now "has legs" and there are conspiratorial assertions being made of it then some Hollywood hocus-pokus may not be out of the question if dark motives are involved.

I believe people are still very easy to fool, at least enough of them to make the skeptics appear to be the nuts. I seem to recall an incident in New York with some airplanes and towers a decade or so back that would illustrate that.

What are they hiding? Probably nothing, but since you ask, seems I heard "whistle-blower" mentioned, and then there is talk about an object striking the home/s in question. If you are asking for something from left-field then how about we are just now planetarily entering a debris field and there is a cover-up to delay us knowing about dangerously large space objects entering our atmosphere that can destroy homes, neighborhoods, and cities - to delay us just long enough to take cover in their DUMBS. Do you know where your congressional representitives are?

He stated something valid, there is no attitude. We are simply discussing and ruling out from official reports on what it could not be. Meteor, is still a plausible answer if it bursted before impact, which would explain non charred area at "impact" zone.

True .. plane crash is not very likely, but what about the white material that was found miles away?

I'm amazed no one has figured this out yet. I understood almost immediately that the Sta Puft Marshmallow Man was clearly behind this attack. The bigger question in my mind is what did they do to piss him off so badly?

But then you have to deal with it being used on civilians, and IN the US.

At a guess I would suggest accident and malfunction of equipment.

Except for the fact it seems that there are a couple of important people very close to the scene.

Which may suggest intentional.

It certainly is not clear cut in any way.

What gets me is the overhead pictures of the site, which show a focused and directionalised explosion.

What I like is that TPTB can not take these photos away from public scrutiny

You mean like the 'accidental' flight of 6 nuclear warheads over the US from Minot Airforce Base in North Dakota to Barksdale Air Force Base in Louisiana in 2007?
www.msnbc.msn.com...
I highly doubt that military flight was accidental given the kind of preventative measures in place within the military, and the preparations going on for conflict with Iran at that time. You might also take into consideration Occam's Razor, i.e. take the simplest explanation and go with that, because that is most likely the true explanation. Accidents like that one if it did involve the military simply do not happen - - - by accident.

That is why I go with the gas explosion.

However, if the facts pointing to a different scenario stand up (i.e. not a gas explosion) then I go with the demonstration theory I proposed above. The one that points to a desperado section of TPB demonstration of power and intent to the much less malign majority of the TPB in the USA.

Well, if I was in the government and I heard that an asteroid hit the earth and destroyed a couple homes I would probably cover it up too, because I wouldn't want people to freak out .. people are still going nuts because of the Mayan doomsday theories

So, this would explain why they wouldn't want people to know it's an asteroid

A plane crash is not so likely without debris that's true, but I believe the white material they found is the key. Asteroids usually have ice on them, maybe it was really cold ice that dropped when an asteroid was entering the atmosphere?

Question: Can ice on asteroid actually last long enough when it is entering the atmosphere to get to the ground or would it be gone by then?

Me? I've posted a lot less than some people in this thread. The people who believe it was a gas explosion are in the minority.

I watched that same show. Did you hear Shep say, the authorities said they'll have to demolish 30 homes surrounding the explosion.....what's up with that....

The only reason 30 homes would need to be declared condemned and demolished, is if the foundations were so compromised they were unsafe to live in...I don't believe that for one minute....

There is something big we are not being told here, Folks....

I need to find a link to Shep saying this....then a link of who said it in the first place.....

ETA: Here it is from FOX link....

Some were allowed to return Sunday, and others were able to retrieve a few belongings. But those whose homes suffered the most damage will never be allowed back inside, officials said. They have estimated about 30 homes will need to be demolished.

Nice inference from that piece of information, that seems very suspect now that you say that.

I am one of those people that posted on the West Knox fire. I did it because a member was looking for comparison photos.

You are correct in that fact there was no federal involvement. However, times have changed in the last 3 years. Especially with DHS, they have kind of become the national's federal police force. And with this explosion people reported hearing jet engines before it happened.

I'm not convinced this is just a gas explosion. The only way I will completely believe that is if this turns out to be an insurance scam. Otherwise I will always have questions.

Just my thoughts on it.

Well, not to be insensitive to those personally involved, but I imagine that possibilty is being checked out.

The latest news I read talks about a house setting there for a year (foreclosure?), a divorce?, the furnace "not working" properly about a week and a half earlier, the family moving to a motel a week or so before the blast etc. These could obviously simply be media (coverup) fiction, but if true raise interesting questions. My guess is that the phone call made by the home's owner to his ex-wife when she allegedly confirmed the details of their homes loss as well as the one from his daughter when he first got the news 'the home is gone' have already been scrutinized for voice analysis. Way way, to early to point fingers, just saying I imagine arson/fraud is always considered a possibility to be investigated.

30 pages ago I posted tons of links as to why I thought this was a drone.

To recap: Indiana just won a contract to test military drones.

Indiana just held a national drone conference mid October.

I think this was a drone test gone wrong. Not intentional.

If you want the links try page 30-40...they are in there somewhere.

I live 2 hrs south and the drone testing was a huge topic here for the past two months.
