That was good!
gave the creator a thumbs up. 11 million views too.
With very simple software, millions got a good chuckle.

One of my favorite bands and still all I hear in this song is:

yeah eh yeah... something about notches on a belt... yeah eh yeah... whaa eh yeah... something about darkness and white lies...

I walked in on my 9 year old daughter singing this version in front of her friends once, I just about died. (in my defense she goggled it at her dads) Though admittedly I hear this version in my head every time I listen to the song.

And I don't even care why you think it sounds like, the real lyrics by Elton John are...

Rocket man,
Burning out his fuze up here alone.

I know someone who thought the lyrics "and as we wind on down the road" from Led Zepplin's "Stairway to Heaven" was "and there's a wino down the road".

Here's the latest

Last night, when I was falling asleep - this thread popped into my thoughts and instantly this song came to mind... sure enough... misheard lyrics covered it!

K this isn't a song lyric but a phrase I learned I had been pronouncing incorrectly since I was ten. Carte blanche. I always thought it was Carpe Launch. I guess I'd never really read it or when I had it didn't stick. Nobody ever corrected me either when I used it. One day, having a nice chat with a rather bright girl I know and was met with a snort laugh. 'Why are you catapulting fish?' Ohhhhhh........... Derp.

Also epitome. I know it, I always say it correctly but every time I read the bastard I can hear the gears in my head crunch for a second.

I think I have a book too.."scuse me, while I kiss this guy" and other misheard lyrics.
Funny about those two you mentioned. I thought they were:
"Big ole Jet alignment"
" I wanna be your feets a burnin"

In SA, in Afrikaans there's a word "hasie" (which means a rabbit or hare).

The story goes that a dj was overwhelmed with requests for "hasie", and all the people kept asking him: "Speel vir Hasie, speel vir hasie" (play hasie, play hasie).

So eventually he asked somebody what this "hasie" song was, and they said it is:

"Ha sie a bad moon rising ..."
