When I was an 18 year old kid pumping gas, an American plated car did come through the gas station, and they the people were very pleasant. I did a good job ignoring the set of skiis on the top of their car and didn't say anything about it, because it was summer time.

Could someone take this thread off the front page?!

I'm sick of looking at it.

Is it irony that most Canadians would prefer the President that has been the least friendly to Canada?

Apologies for flying off the handle in my post above everyone. Reactionary post which probably would have been best to exercise some self discipline and avoid making. Can't we all just get along? No country is perfect. A misstep on my part, i don't like engaging in flame battles. I truly do love you Americans all things considered on balance. I'll leave it at that, and hopefully whatever the results of the election, it is for the best interest of both your country and the world abroad.

I am Canadian as well, and I wish neither of them would win, listening to both parties I see a lot of talk, and little action. Neither of them addressed the FED, addressed the too big to fails, bailouts, the trade deficit and other huge issues.....

But I read a poll that in Ontario, if they could vote would vote for Obama at around 85% - I guess that is why McGuinty got voted in three times.....and look where that got Ontario, we are almost bankrupt.


and sorry, but if Romney does win, Obama supporters don't come to Canada.....we have enough Liberals here as it is.

Well OpenYourMind1262, let me first say my PS had more to do with mocking that cockroach than any real belief that "God" would answer his prayer or mine. This aside, I am not a fraction as ignorant as you imply and know full well that the "God" these (human beings) pray to is at best a subversion of Sun Worship, as they confirm every time they say Amen/Amon/Amum/Amun Ra and that both the Christian and Muslim Religions are the creations of man. However, if you do not believe in a Creator behind our world and universe, and that there are universal laws and karma, that is okay too because you will learn in this life or the incarnations that still lay ahead. At my age, I am not of a mind to convince anyone of anything and the fact that I engage in this sill cyber sandbox and react as I do, is just a game,as me and mine are not in the same canoe with the rest of you and will be fine no matter what you, humanity or this government does. I am prepared to sail away within hours and am welcome anywhere I wish to take us. Point in fact, I think the world is justly due its karma.

And anyways, some puffed up sense of national pride on my part is just as ridiculous as anyone else doing it, so yeah pot meet kettle there Runciter lol. People are people, we are all human right? really.

Never mind that Obama gave taxpayer money and stimulus funds to all his Capitalist banker crony friends and other nasty people who are more interested in stealing taxpayer monies than in saving America.

You believed all that silly Marxist rhetoric about Republicans giving tax breaks to the rich, whent it's really the Democrats who are stealing all the taxpayers blind, not just the rich. Under Obama only the wealthy will survive while the middle class will be taxed to death. Even the poor will suffer more in spite of the Obama income redistribution schemes.

Jesus never said anything about letting the govt steal from the people and giving their hard earned money to other people. Jesus never advocated a mandatory health insurance scam forcing people to purchase a product from insurance corporations. The whole Jesus is a socialist thing is nothing but a severe misunderstanding of His teachings and his actions.
Again, I explained that his multiplying the loaves and fishes at the Marriage at Cana was MULTIPLYING the loaves and fishes, not taking some from one person and giving it to another. There is a difference. Jesus precipitated the food straight from the Universal Supply which the rest of us do not know how to do. This is not socialism.
My suggestion to you would be to keep studying gnosticism until you understand it.

Based on what today are reported as the teachings of Jesus, one can believe he would have liked to see a community where everyone worked together to make sure all of its citizens had enough to eat and were properly sheltered and clothed. Stop trying to take a beautiful concept like socialism(which btw is a government enforced policy here in the US) and turn it into a dirty word. The real dirty word is greed, whether you call your government democratic, republic, communist.

Can just ONE Obama lover please list for me why you believe Obama deserves your vote.

What things has he done that you admire? Was he a good leader? Did he keep his promises? Do you believe he actually has the sincere interests of America at heart? Does he love America?

I am so confused about the Obama-bots.
