A die-hard Obama fan if I ever saw one.
Just for Clarity, Im not so much a Obama Fan , as I am more Anti-Romney.
Id vote for Snookie before I voted Romney.

That's your privelege and right as a voter. I was not excited about Romney and numerous posts will show that, and that I am a fan of Ron Paul, but I have grown to appreciate Romney over the months. It is almost scary that people will "not call" people liars in hopes of insinuating that they are liars without actually accusing them, when the facts show different. In any case, the local news reported over 30,000 showed up for Romney in Ohio, and Michelle Malkin wrote in her blog that the Obama campaign is saying they are holding smaller venues on purpose.

I'm currently searching, but didn't the early results from the 2008 election get touted greatly by the democrats as being an indicator for how the election would go?

Now, the results are being downplayed (obviously).

I'm just wondering if anyone else has noticed this dichotomy.
It is the standard, partisan hack playbook. "Do as we say, not as we do."

This is purely anecdotal, and in no way indicative of what is guaranteed to happen, either way. However, in conversations with my family and friends in various parts of Ohio, I am being told that the overwhelming opinion they are seeing among friends, neighbors, and coworkers is support for Romney.

Now, again, this is anecdotal so don't anyone hang your hat on it. It may turn out that my friends and family are just hitting the pro-Romney areas coincidentally while not seeing massive support from Obama that does exist. Or, it could mean the polls about Ohio are wrong. I don't know.

I would define desperation as rushing to be the first poster in every Romney thread with negative remarks. May I be the first to welcome you here.

So now it is a bad thing to be paying attention?

There are some people who think Romney is a lying cheater who evades his own taxes. He will be a disaster for the environment and get us into another war.

Did you know that cheating scum like Romney are responsible for the situation Greece is in right now? People who would rather take advantage of loopholes and send their money to off shore accounts rather than support their own country. And you people want to make him President. You can't recognize a liar when you see one. Someone has to stop you before you get what you wish for and endanger this country, and send it down the tubes in the process. It is called patriotism. You guys wear it like a cologne but you don't even know what it means.

Ahhh boy. I'm not a Romney fan, nor am I an Obama fan. But man. I'm kinda scared at the overall direction this country is heading. It's only going to get worse, no matter who wins.

I am going to stick with the statisticians which say Obama 3:1 chance of winning... polling is done in such a way that it rarely represents a sample of the population... Once polling companies stop using the damn phone and go door to door they do not and can not mean squat.

Which is why the MSM is constantly touting any poll that looks positive for Obama. To the point they're practically running victory laps already. How does it feel to be so controlled by the establishment?

Why anyone would waste their time going to a rally for either of these tools or any other politician is beyond me

That's the truth of it. The FACTS are that Obama is currently winning this election according to the polls.

Nothing else left to do except wait until Tuesday.

Obama is still winning early voting, just not by as much as he was in 2008.

This is a closer race than in 2008, but the fact is that he is still winning early voting.

Funny those were the same polls used and touted by the Obama campaign i 08, now all the sudden they are no good......love the doublestandard

Really?

You have proof of that?

I followed the 2008 campaign very close, and they had weekly updates on the battleground polling.

Nice try, desperation does funny things.

LOL I was just reading if Romney is the Anti-Christ

www.isromneytheantichrist.com...

So he should be able to control the polls of the mainstream media seeing how he runs them (if he is the Anti-Christ of course) LOL

The Electoral Map - Presidential Race Ratings and Swing States - Election 2012 - NYTimes.com

I can't copy and paste it, but it says, as of today,
that Obama has 243 electoral votes NOW (needs 27 to win), and Romney has 206 (needs 64 to win).

Of those numbers, Obama's solid done-deal electoral votes are 185, with the rest (58 of the 243) "leaning" Obama.
Romney has 180 solid done-deal electoral votes, with 26 "leaning"

There are 89 toss-up votes, and THOSE ARE THE VOTES THAT MATTER.
People, if you are in swing states, PLEASE go and vote. It's what will tip the scales, really. Really, truly. I wish I lived in one of those swing states, but I don't. So, I'm encouraging you who have that power to please vote.

These are the swing states (for the benefit of those potential voters who don't really get the whole process -- no offense, but just in case you didn't realize the power you have -- if you live in THESE STATES, please VOTE!)
Colorado
Iowa
Wisconsin
New Hampshire
Florida
Ohio
Virginia

Well everyone says you need Ohio to win it. Take a look at Romneys Ohio pictures! But of course Obama says he is winning ohio so it must be true. Why would the president LIE to you?

Do you realize how it reflects on you to put a string of laughy faces in your posts?

Just because people turned up at rallies and someone photographed it does NOT mean there aren't fed-up people who don't bother going to stupid rallies. This is a nation of 300 million people; it's not a high-school football game with "pep rallies" so cheerleaders can flounce around and shake their pompons.

It's serious stuff.

Romney is losing. And it's because he's a chump. He can't even sit through an AM radio interview without interrupting the host, cutting him off repeatedly, and leaving the room in a snit!

THAT'S the guy who we want to go to other countries? The diplomacy of a spoiled 4-year-old?
gha
