For the second day in a row, Fox News devoted extensive coverage to a campaign speech by Mitt Romney, far overshadowing the coverage the network gave President Obama's campaign speech. In fact, Fox News carried Romney's entire 26-minute speech live, while it cut Obama's remarks off after just three minutes.
The attorneys for Fox, owned by media baron Rupert Murdoch, successfully argued the First Amendment gives broadcasters the right to lie or deliberately distort news reports on the public airwaves.
a Florida Appeals court ruled there is absolutely nothing illegal about lying, concealing or distorting information by a major press organization.

I prefer to see it as FOX is making up for zero to unfavorable coverage by every other network, of anyone but Obama.....

Yes and no.
In 95% of cases, most people by the time they get home at night already heard the "news" via newspaper or friend or internet. They go home at night and watch FOX because they want to nightly-sensationalised twist.

It's no news that Fox is a Republican outlet.
But it is also no surprise that the rest are Pro-Democrat outfits as well.
They do this intentionally as it drives ratings, which equals profits. And truth be told FOXNews is beating the rest hands down.
And the saying, "We report, you decide." is actually a fair statement.
It's always up to us as to what we believe.edit on 2-11-2012 by TDawgRex because: (no reason given)

I watch FOX NEWS, because their women have the shortest dresses and best legs on MSM. You just never know when they are going to switch positions in their seats.
