I don't want to do anything permanent!

But I thought it'd be fun just to wager avatars for a while.

Thanks for playing!

LOL.
Maybe you should actually read my (and everyone elses) posts before you try throwing insults around.
How exactly is it that I am "a sheep?" I am a libertarian and will be voting for Gary Johnson.
I am just calling it as it is. The race isn't even close, it never was, they have just been "tightening it up" via the media so people will get out and vote. Hard to put on a show if you don't have an audience.

Actually I would consider you the sheep if you are among the helpless throngs that actuall believe it matters who wins.

Try again, I will be back after the election, and after ohio is contested, and etc etc.

I knew what your basic prediction would be before clicking on the thread. Perhaps everyone knew also, as you have made it no secret that you support Romney wholeheartedly.

The truth is, Romney will ruin the USA. He is truly terrifying.

He is stuck in a Cold War mentality. He views Russia and China as enemies. He has even declared both enemies...before becoming President
. That is not good. The last thing the world needs is some psychotic President running around, declaring other powerful nations as enemies. He will no doubt cause world wide tension. Now is a time for peace and collaboration, something Obama has been working towards.

You all blame Obama on the economy and other crap. The truth is, Obama knew he was going to bear the brunt of Bush's screw ups. Obama didn't cause the Economical collapse, Bush did. In fact, Obama is repairing your economy, albeit slowly. You all expect too much in too short a time.

Think you're right about the House and Senate, but not on the presidency. As part of your loyal opposition, I'd be happy to agree upon an avatar-switch bet with you. I have just the picture...

How about just promising not to start or get involved EVER with any threads claiming that Obama, with the help of George Soros, Nate Silver, MSNBC, the UN election monitors and the Muslim Brotherhood, stole the election?

I've said many times in the past that while our system is flawed, it still works.

So no, no election stealing from me.

You can't predict the future. Even if they are not allies, that is no reason to not attempt to talk to them.

Romney just straight out called them enemies of the USA. The last thing we all want is to return to the days of the cold war.

What on earth would know russian or chinese people have to do with international politics? How would it reflect on anything? Russian daughter in law?
So that complete nonsense aside, you think we should shut ourselves off from up and coming super powers while we piss ourselves away on pointless wars? That's what romney wants. That along with the QE3 is what will run this country into the ground. It's downright ignorant, stupid people are now the norm and somehow they've gotten into power. It scares me. Before anyone says anything obama is not much better (he's not as bad but its a small margin) and I won't be voting for either of them.

I'm in Ohio and since we are the only state that matters...

I think it is going to be Obama

That way we can have Chris Christie vs Hilary Clinton in 2016

I'd be willing to wager on this one - I'll even let you pick my avatar if I'm wrong.

That's a lot of American's sentiments towards the subject, including mine. Star for you, sir. But this is why I think Obama has it in the bag:

Was Obama just being cocky? Maybe, but why say anything like that at all if you know it would only create confusion or discernment? Romney has already made a simliar mistake with his "47% of Americans don't pay taxes" remark.

Beez, if you lose, you should put the bad ATS-word as your avatar...that word, which I'm not CALLING anyone (attention: ATS Forum Secret Service), is "sh!LL." At least there is some risk/reward with doing that...

Lima-1, censored by ATS, out.

You must be stuck in the cold-war mentality because we are more than friendly
with nations that despise us. We even send them yours and my tax dollars in the form
or foreign aid. Namely Israel; they pay lip service to the US but deep in their hearts they aren't our allies.

This was no accident....

Curious, where do you get your data that "it's not even close" in favor of Obama? Is that a gut feeling?

I think MN goes to Romney, first since '72 that the state goes GOP in the Presidential Election.
My family for instance, very large and predominantly Democrat, voted Obama last time, will be voting Romney this time. Similarly the same among friends and neighbors.
Obama may take Hennepin County, and a couple counties near the Iron Range, but rest of state will go Romney.

I don't care about your avatar so I'm not going to bring up anything on that note.

As for the predictions, well I'll play.

This is going to be a close election, no landslide on either side. The country is too polarized for a landslide on either side. The Senate will stay Democrat. I think there will likely be a recount in Ohio if the difference between the candidates is less than 5%. I think Obama is likely to win Ohio. The house will stay the same.

Looking forward, Obama is likely to not get much done as we will still have divided government. If Romney wins we will likely be militarily involved in Syria by April and will have war with Iran within two years. I suspect the GOP could lose the house as well with Romney in office as the trend has been toward divided government.

Oh, and say good night to Tea Party Candidates. The GOP lost out on the majority in the Senate because of them and they are not going to let them do it again next election.

Agreed, Obama is going to win even with Sandy tearing up most of his in the bag states. At least Obama comes off as not being in Netanyahu's pocket! With Romney/Ryan a few things are certain. War with Iran et all! End of medicare! End to many of the tools we use to fight extreme poverty.

What the hell kind of plan is it to keep tax breaks for fat cats while passing the buck to middle classes deductions! The Bush era tax cuts are what caused this F'N mess!

Personally I will be voteing for Johnson! You gotta be like 20'ish or just plain stupid to back Romney! I pick Obama over Romney because he does not come off as such a Neocon! Both are no good for this country!
