It's going to be Romney/Ryan for the win.

The Senate will stay democrat the House, republican.

If I'm wrong, I will formally apologise and change my avatar to the image that someone else chooses. (for a week)

I have yet to determine whom that person would be, but I do have a list going.

(Although, it won't be necessary.)

Anyone willing to match me on this "prediction"?

Any "takers"?

Either way we all lose!

I actually think Obama's got it in the bag. I don't care for either candidate though.

I'd be willing to wager on this one - I'll even let you pick my avatar if I'm wrong.

Sure. Obama keeps office and Romney walks, otherwise I will begin limiting my posting on ATS to no more than 5 per week.

Deal?

Great! If I win, I choose your avatar.

If you win, you choose mine!

It will be Obama for the win. I wish it was Johnson, but I am afraid that you GOP supporters have been played sooo hard. Romney has never truly been ahead. The only time people even said he was ahead was when Obama threw a debate so more Dems would show to vote and "tighten up" the race to maintain the illusion.

Romney was never going to win, he never had a chance, and he was never supposed to. He was needed for one thing.. to keep Ron Paul down and to keep the third party candidates out. Have to keep it the two main parties at each others throats.

I can't believe you guys can't see this. Obama WILL win this. Mark my words. I will be back here in a few days.

I can't really say about the other races because.. well they are barely reported on. All I know is Obama has it in the bag without a doubt. NO DOUBT. I won't have to change my avatar, but Beezz how about you photoshop some blind man glasses and a dunce cap on that rabbit of yours for a week.

Last Presidential election I made a guess on who would win what states and was right. Then I changed it before making my prediction known, which made me wrong on two states. So this year I am determined not to change my guess.

Mitt Romney has a 2:1 chance of winning the popular vote. However, Romney only has a 50/50 chance of winning the electoral college. I expect Romney to win the popular vote by 2-4% and the electoral vote by a margin of 271 - 267.

As for the Senate, expect it to remain in Democratic hands. The likelihood of Romney removing ObamaCare is significantly reduced under these circumstances. At the same time, the House of Representatives will remain with a strong Republican majority, not changing by more than 15 seats in either direction.

Interesting hypothesis, Vic. I'm now doubly curious of the results.

My own reasoning?

Obama got 99% of the black vote before, he will get that again, but only 50% of that 99% will be voting. Also, the novelty, the newness of having a black president has worn off. I actually don't believe people (as a whole) are that racist, maybe biased, but not racist. So the caucasian vote will swing back to issues and not a "newness" issue. And Romney wins on the issues.

The reason why the polls are so tied? People just aren't being honest.

But I will keep your idea in the back of my mind.

That map looks about right, but I think Obama will get Virginia, and possibly Florida.

You sir, are a member I truely respect. Your judgement always seems emperical versus emotional. So I will also watch and can almost assure your accuracy.

Obama will get a second term. As for Congress? I live in Georgia and I can barely keep up with our corrupt representatives, much less everyone elses.

For the love of God... the people here elected NATHAN DEAL as Governor...

So Bunny... Avatar VS avatar. One week. I pick Obama, you pick Romney?

Steel cage avatar death match? Let's DO this.

Romney doesn't win on any issues.
He and Obama are identical. Sure Romney says some things opposite of Obama, but he has flip flopped on all issues. They are both Pro Choice, Pro Universal Healthcare, Pro gun control, etc. They are mods.

Romney comes off as a serious liar and he can't relate to the working class in any way. He just never had what it took. He was every Republicans last choice. He is proof we don't choose our candidates. I doubt you will be able to find many people that actually supported Romney for the GOP from the start. They all had a different guy. It's a sham. He will not win. It's not a maybe, it's a certainty. I have not one milligram of doubt.

As you stated, I was rooting for Herman Cain, so you're right, there.
You're also right that Romney is a moderate.

But I still think Obama will lose. Soley based on his record, not Romneys.
