Yep - Thanks KL
I had once planned to spend a summer touring the Frank Llloyd Wright homes, but haven't made it yet....
We actually have one here in Tallahassee, but the owner has let it fall into disrepair and ignores any offers to restore it....:shk:
So yeah - I used that as the theme of my avatar b/c it's a perfect example of Wright's architecture, with which he strove to place the house in a
location that maximized the blend between the natural beauty of the land and the flowing lines of the building....hence....never loose focus of your
surroundings....
Edit It's also of interest to note that Wright didn't just design buildings....Much of his work also involved designing the interior decor to
match the structural surroundings....Fallingwater is another superb example of his work, b/c it still exists today as a conserved home that's
remained furnished with his originals and is open for tours....
