No, actually it's a very personal representation, on Goya's part, of one the Roman gods of mythology, Saturn...

The myth itself comes from his other alias, Kronos, from Greek mythology....

He was king of the gods before Zeus, who decided it would be fun to castrate his own father, Ouranos....lol....At any rate, Kronos was afraid that a prophecy would come true that his son would launch a "coup d'état" and take over his position, so he ate all of his children as they were born.

I've been trying to beef up on my Photoshop skills to stay in competetion....I made a trip over to www.thewebmachine.com... and spoiled myself silly on all the excellent free tutorials he offers....

Everything in Photoshop can be mixed and matched to make a virtual wardrobe of styles available at your finger tips in a moments notice, which is something that website has taught me....Not to mention the value of using CHANNELS....And all this time I thought having endless amounts of LAYERS were the most important thing for creating depth and a unique feeling!

Great avatar Enron! I see we were thinking along the same line. I got the idea for an ignorance denial meter yesterday when I saw a picture of one of those "Test your love skills" machines that you see in a carnival. Mine doesn't look as good as yours, but it is dynamic

I may ask JAK for some help in making it look nicer.
