No, actually it's a very personal representation, on Goya's part, of one the Roman gods of mythology, Saturn...
The myth itself comes from his other alias, Kronos, from Greek mythology....
He was king of the gods before Zeus, who decided it would be fun to castrate his own father, Ouranos....lol....At any rate, Kronos was afraid that a
prophecy would come true that his son would launch a "coup d'état" and take over his position, so he ate all of his children as they were born.
