You are very uneducated apparently. The Democrat party has been responsible for pretty much every war America ever fought. The Civil War ( 96% of Democrats voted NOT to abolish slavery and went south and made their own country of slavery) WWI, WWII, Korean War, Vietnam War were all under Democrat Presidents. Iraq/Afghanistan wars were a result of Clintons policies. He had Bin Laden twice and let him go. It is amazingly stupid to believe the lefts lies decrieing that the Republican party are war mongers when the facts say Democrats have put us into every single war we ever fought. A Democrat President dropped the only nuclear bomb ever dropped on a population. Try reading history. It might up your IQ.

Regardless of what the Obama administration might have offered, we now know that Iran is refusing to work any deals with the U.S. until after the election is over. They know that any "deal" with Obama is futile if he doesn't win the next election.

As for a quote from Salehi in your original link...

Days after the WND report, Ali Akbar Salehi, the regime’s foreign minister, in an interview with the German magazine Der Spiegel, stated, “If our right to enrichment is guaranteed, we are prepared to offer an exchange.”

We already know that this is a lie. How many times have we heard this before? We gave Iran a chance to make an "exchange" a long time ago and they refused. Not to mention the fact that Khamenei himself has come out time and time again to say that they will NEVER give in to the U.S. on ANYTHING.

If or when the day ever comes where Khamenei "works a deal", he will have just made himself look weak after telling Iranians that "sanctions only make us stronger" over and over and over again. I don't see this ever happening. If anything, keeping the sanctions in place allows Khamenei to keep control over Iranians so that they're less capable of overthrowing his regime. He's making them weaker by the day.

www.huffingtonpost.com...

The White House has denied a report of the U.S. and Iran agreeing to one-on-one nuclear talks.

On Saturday evening, the New York Times released a piece claiming that the two nations had agreed to take this step for the first time. The paper cited "intense, secret exchanges" between officials from both countries that had been developing since President Barack Obama took office -- culminating less than 48 hours before 2012's presidential debate on foreign policy.
