Why should you be afraid to go to school? I doubt any of those kids care that much to bully you over it.

Plus your guys' opinion doesn't really count as you can't vote and are not of developed mind. Seeing as I started getting political at age 14, you change so much since then. I used to be super right wing....now I'm liberal at 21.

I don't think you should be calling anyone a "sheeple" when you support Mitt Romney...

heh

I'm confused, how can you call your classmates as well as the people in your city sheeple yet in the same post profess to be a Romney supporter? This leads me to believe that you consider Obama supporters to be sheeple. Is your city largely liberal? Anyways I got news for you, supporting either political candidate constitutes a fair case to label you as a sheeple. It's not like Romney will do any better than Obama. I suggest you look at your own political decisions before labeling all the people in your school and city. Though in all honesty it sounds like you are using a buzzword you picked up on this site without fully knowing the meaning behind it.

As for your friends, this is high school. Everyone goes through this nonsense. Being an adult is learning how to have your own opinion without letting others influence it or intimidate you into believing something you don't agree with. Of course the majority of people in tbis country can't seem to do that and let the MSM tell them what to believe. Those people are the sheeple that you are referring to.

In closing don't take what I said in the first paragraph at face value. Do your own research. Lookup things like the Fed and qe3, policies of both candidates towards the middle east, past partisan mud slinging, trickle down economics, etc. It will take a while to go through all this, and I know I didn't come to my conclusions overnight but rather over many years. Don't frst though, you aren't even 18 yet and able to vote.

I am a junior in high school, I live in a very big city full of sheeple. i also go to a high school full of sheeple. But anyways.

It must be tough being a junior high kid with a hungry mouth to feed.

What's it to be sport? You a junior high kid or the father of a son with a bolt-action .22? Are you both or neither???

How do i go about going to school tomorrow? Do i just deal with that Evil eye and that occasional threat? I can handle myself pretty well, but with all this hate towards me, I wouldn't doubt a fight.

Take a day off school and take your son out to visit uncle who was experimented on! Damn, but those tennis balls must itch like all hell!

racist for voting for a white guy? just remind them that voting for a guy just because he is black IS racist. the vote should be about the PERSON RUNNING, skin colour should have nothing to do with it. just goes to show who some of the more racist actually are i guess.

You brought up Racism.
You are being called a racist for supporting Romney.
What is your race?
What is the racial balance of your school & city?
Why does being called a racist make you fear going to school?

It seems to me that this situation is not so much about political opinions as it is about racism.

Which is it OP?

There has been some very good advice so far from the 6 replies I read, I would listen to them all.

My own bit of advice, be yourself, I know it hard at your age, as fitting in seems to be the only thing in the world that matters.

But one day very soon, you will not ever see or talk. To most of these people again, and will look back and realize, their oppinions shouldn't have ever mattered at all, as they live their lives and you live yours.

If you spend your entire youth trying to do and say and think what others want you to, you won't accomplish the most important part of being young and growing up, fiinding your own way, and making your own decisions, and deciding what is important to and for yourself.

Let the sheeple follow, if you go your own way, even if at first it seems your alone, when you look back you will see by the lines in the sand, you were always leading the entire time.

Besides, does a wolf care if the sheeple like their oppinion? Of course not, wolves go out and get what they want, sheeple wait for instructions on what to do next.

Besides shouldn't you be trying to scofe the head cheerleader/ captain of the football team, instead of worrying about politics?

You have your entire adult life to hate politicians and people who support them, you only get to be young once, squeeze every damned bit of awesome out of it that you can, while you can, you only get one shot at it.

There's a girl on my twitter who tweeted "Romney is an ****** Racist", I asked her if she could provide 1 shred of evidence of him being a racist, all I got was 10 tweets full of excuses, she couldn't give me a single example of him being a racist because he isn't one, he has black female friends, one to note, Secretary Jane Edmonds, mention to them that she is a black woman, a democrat, and a supporter of Romney, here's a video of her talking about it;

www.youtube.com...

The most racist people I've ever seen in the past decade are surfacing against not the half black half white man but the white man in this election, I find race an insignificant thing that has no place in politics. Lady Gaga asked who are you voting for? I replied, "I'm voting for the man with substance, the man who stands for something, the color of his skin doesn't matter", the people who saw this post assumed I was voting for Obama, because after all, race doesn't matter when it's a black guy and not a white guy? Wrong, I'm voting for Romney, he's the man with an economical plan, he's the man with substance.

The problem, young man, is the very real possibility (I say certainty) that neither Romney or Obama care about your individual future as a human. Sorry, it's a rough place, this planet Earth!

EDIT: Upon further reading it has come to light that the OP'er will need to verify their story quite a bit more so as to not be considered in breach of ATS T&C's.
Regardless I shall let this post stand as is.

Explanation: S&F!

Maybe, ... just maybe, if you made it clear that you are not voting for Mitt, but are instead voting for the policies that Mitt is promising to enact, it may depersonalize the entire issue!

Personal Disclosure: Don't worry what they think ... because you know better ok (you have ATS to refer to
)!

That gives you a perfect opportunity to Deny Ignorance!

Goodluck, Be Safe and then Have Fun!

Tommorow- do yourself a favor- and stand in what you believe in.

Dont let other people dictate how you should think or how you should feel.

If they cant accept it- then who is really the racist?

The worst thing anyone can do is vote for someone because of their color.

Tommorow- go to school wearing a Romney t-shirt.

That will really piss em off =)

-side note- I dont like either candidate- but i respect your right to choose for yourself. Dont let anyone take that from you.
